Wireless Festival Update: Ye Will No Longer Headline — What It Means for 2026
Wireless Festival has confirmed that Kanye West, now known as Ye, will no longer headline this summer’s event at Finsbury Park in London.
The announcement comes after earlier reports that Ye would perform across all three nights of the festival, marking what would have been his first UK shows in over 11 years. Those planned headline slots, scheduled for July 10th, 11th, and 12th, were expected to span his full career, from The College Dropout through to The Life of Pablo and beyond.
His originally announced return generated significant attention, given his history with Wireless. Ye previously headlined the festival in 2014, stepping in at short notice to replace Drake and delivering a set that drew widespread coverage for its scale and energy.
While Ye will no longer be performing, Wireless Festival is still expected to go ahead with an updated lineup.
