Karol G

Karol G is the stage name of Carolina Giraldo Navarro, a Colombian singer, songwriter and record producer from Medellin, and one of the defining voices of the modern reggaeton and Latin pop movement. She grew up immersed in the music culture of her home city, and over the past decade has become one of the most streamed artists in the world, carrying Spanish-language pop to a genuinely global audience.

She is known to fans as "La Bichota". The name comes from Puerto Rican slang, where "bichote" describes a person with power and influence, a boss figure. No feminine version of the word existed, so Karol G coined "Bichota" and built it into an empowerment identity after her 2020 single of the same name went viral. "Bichota Season" has since become shorthand, used by both the artist and her fans, for a mood and an era of confidence, resilience and celebration rather than any single moment in the calendar.

Her fifth studio album, Tropicoqueta, was released on 20 June 2025 and became her fourth consecutive number one on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart. Its opening was the biggest United States streaming week ever recorded for a Latin album by a woman, which shows how far her audience now reaches beyond the Spanish-speaking world.

In career terms the numbers are stadium-scale. She has more than 117 billion career streams and over 310 RIAA Platinum certifications in the United States. Her previous run, the Manana Sera Bonito World Tour, sold 2.3 million tickets across 62 shows and grossed more than 300 million dollars, establishing her as a true stadium headliner rather than an arena act.

That momentum carries into Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour, announced on 21 April 2026. The tour spans more than 39 stadiums across North America, South America and Europe over roughly 14 months, and it is the run that makes Karol G the first Latina artist to headline stadiums across Europe as part of a global tour. Reputable press covering her 2026 festival appearances has also widely reported her as the first Latina to headline Coachella, a milestone the stadium's own event copy references when it describes her "history-making headline show" there.

Her live performances are built around a live band, dancers and a warm, celebratory staging that press and fans consistently describe as a vibrant celebration of Latin culture, unity and empowerment rather than a detached stadium spectacle. The set list for the 2027 tour has not been published, and is not something this page attempts to predict.

Karol G plays her only UK date on Tuesday 6 July 2027 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, and it is the single show that concentrates all of her UK demand into one venue on one night. Premium hospitality for a stadium concert is about arriving to a guaranteed seat, with pre-show food, drink and a lounge as part of the evening rather than an afterthought.

For the 6 July 2027 concert, general tickets are sold in a mixed configuration that the stadium and its ticketing partner describe as "Reserved Seating and Standing". That means a mix of reserved seats around the stadium bowl and a standing floor area, rather than an all-seated show. Standard tickets are on sale through the official channels; availability may change.
