Mariah Carey brings Christmastime to Utilita Arena Birmingham on Friday 27 November 2026, the first of her three arena shows in Birmingham, London and Manchester and the only one on a Friday. Doors open at 18:00 and the show starts at 19:30, with DJ Suss One supporting. For the night, the arena lists five premium options, and its private suites seat up to 14 guests.
The three nights are her first UK Christmas shows since 2018. The set is not all festive: her recent Christmas shows have included a run of her biggest non-Christmas hits, among them "Hero" and "We Belong Together", and have ended with "All I Want for Christmas Is You". Utilita Arena Birmingham lists five premium options for Mariah Carey on Friday 27 November 2026, and every one includes lounge access, priority entry and a premium category seat. The simplest stops there. Between them the other four add a drink, a dish from the premium dining menu, unlimited drinks or all-inclusive dining, and three of the five include parking. Who can go to Mariah Carey in Birmingham, and what can you bring?
Age rules for Mariah Carey at Utilita Arena Birmingham depend on whether you sit or stand. In seats, anyone under 14 must be with an adult aged 18 or over who has a valid ticket, and from 14 a guest with their own valid ticket can come into the building alone. The standing floor admits no under-14s, and 14 and 15 year olds only with an adult aged 18 or over.
Children are welcome in the premium lounges, and every child over one needs a ticket. The bag limit on the night is A4 size (21cm x 30cm x 19cm) with no more than two compartments, and rucksacks are not allowed.
How do you get home from Utilita Arena Birmingham on a Friday night?
Birmingham New Street, a short walk from Utilita Arena Birmingham, is the main station for the journey home after Mariah Carey on Friday 27 November 2026. Direct trains to London Euston run late on Fridays, and the last one leaves after 23:00 in the current timetable. Guests heading to Bristol or Leeds face much earlier last direct trains, so an overnight stay or a car is the safer plan.
By train and tram
From New Street, the last direct train to Manchester Piccadilly leaves at about 22:30, and a later service needs one change. Bristol Temple Meads is earlier, with the last train shortly after 22:00. Utilita Arena Birmingham has three car parks, North, South and West, and advises booking a space in advance. Vehicles over 2m must use the North car park, and all parking payments are cashless. Birmingham's Clean Air Zone, which operates 24 hours a day, covers the arena and its car parks. Vehicles that do not meet its standard pay a daily charge, so check your vehicle on GOV.UK before you set off.
Blue Badge bays are on Level 11 of the South car park, with direct access to the accessible Entrance D; on Level 8 of the West car park, the first level you drive into, with access to Entrance C; and on Level 9 of the North car park, near Entrance G, although that car park has no lift.
