Lytham Festival rules to know before you go
Rain alone does not stop a show: Lytham Festival cancels a concert only in dangerous weather conditions. Umbrellas are not permitted in the festival arena, though. Security checks at the gates can mean up to 60 minutes to get into the arena.
Children aged 16 and under must be with an adult aged 18 or over who has their own ticket, and children aged 2 and under go free without one. Prams and pushchairs are not permitted, and dogs are not allowed on site, apart from assistance dogs.
Lytham Festival history and past headliners
The 2026 edition was the festival's 15th anniversary and drew more than 110,000 people across five nights. Teddy Swims headlined on Wednesday 1 July, Alanis Morissette on Thursday 2 July, Michael Bublé on Friday 3 July, Pet Shop Boys on Saturday 4 July and Pitbull on Sunday 5 July.
In 2025, Kings of Leon's opening night on Wednesday 2 July was cancelled after Caleb Followill's heel injury, and Alanis Morissette's night was cancelled on the day because of high winds.
The 2020 and 2021 festivals were cancelled. The festival began in 2010 as the one-day Lytham Proms concert, the name it went by before it became Lytham Festival.
About Lytham Festival Hospitality
Which nights are announced for the next Lytham Festival?
The next Lytham Festival runs over five nights, from Wednesday 30 June to Sunday 4 July, and two of its headliners are announced so far. Robbie Williams was the first act named, for Saturday 3 July. Fatboy Slim headlines Friday 2 July, with Becky Hill billed as special guest. Organisers have said the festival will have five headline acts, so the Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday headliners are still to come.
- Friday 2 July, Lytham Festival, Lytham Green, gates 5pm: Fatboy Slim at Lytham Festival, with special guest Becky Hill
- Saturday 3 July, Lytham Festival, Lytham Green, gates 5pm: Robbie Williams at Lytham Festival
Fatboy Slim is not on the Robbie Williams bill; the two headliners play different nights. More on each act is on the Fatboy Slim, Becky Hill and Robbie Williams pages, and the night-by-night status of the whole edition is tracked in our guide to the line-up, dates and on-sale history.
Who does Lytham Festival hospitality suit?
Lytham Festival suits a client evening or a team night out that needs no overnight stay. Gates open at 5pm, and the music finishes around 11pm from Wednesday to Saturday and at 10.30pm on Sunday. What is not included at Lytham Festival?
Lytham Festival's own VIP Garden ticket covers entry and the Garden itself, but food and drink in the Garden are bought, not included (alcohol is served to over-18s only; ID may be required). - The VIP Garden has no raised viewing platform.
- The Garden Kitchen, led by local chef Oli Martin, is sold separately inside the VIP Garden.
