About British Superbike Championship Hospitality
What is the British Superbike Championship?
The British Superbike Championship (BSB) is the UK's domestic superbike championship. The 2026 calendar had 11 rounds between May and October, ten in the UK and one at Assen in the Netherlands.
When does BSB race at Donington Park?
BSB raced at Donington Park twice in 2026: Round 2 on Friday 15 to Sunday 17 May, and a Showdown round on Friday 2 to Sunday 4 October, both on the Grand Prix circuit. The official pre-season test was held there on 3 to 4 April 2026.
Donington Park is also the venue for the 2027 WorldSBK UK round on the provisional calendar, so one circuit carries both the British series and the World Superbike Championship, on separate weekends.
Who are the most recent British Superbike champions?
Kyle Ryde won the 2025 British Superbike title on a Yamaha, clinching it at the Brands Hatch finale on 19 October 2025 ahead of Bradley Ray, after taking his first title in 2024. Before the 2025 season his OMG Racing team collapsed and was rescued as Nitrous Competitions Racing, and for 2026 Ryde and the team switched from Yamaha to Ducati.
How does a BSB race weekend work?
In 2026 each British Superbike round had three races. At both Donington Park meetings, Saturday brought qualifying and the first feature race, and Sunday brought a sprint race and a second feature race, with support classes racing across the weekend.

Frequently Asked Questions About British Superbike Championship Hospitality
Find answers to common questions about british superbike championship hospitality packages and experiences.
No date had been announced as of 12 October 2026, because the 2027 British Superbike calendar had not been published. On that date the official BSB calendar still showed only the 2026 season, and the circuit's own calendar carried no 2027 BSB dates, so no 2027 round at Donington Park had been confirmed.
BSB announced a new "Next Generation" technical platform for 2027 in October 2026, calling it the most significant evolution of the class in more than a decade. A Mectronik torque-based electronic management system replaces the control ECU, and a balance of performance approach, with an initial target of around 200bhp, aims to bring different makes of bike closer together.
No. Prestige Corporate Events handles hospitality enquiries only and does not sell general admission tickets. Entry without hospitality is a separate purchase with its own conditions, and the circuit's entry options are set out in our guide to how Donington Park tickets work.
Shane Byrne holds the record, with six British Superbike titles, won in 2003, 2008, 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2017. His 2016 and 2017 titles were the last back-to-back championships until Kyle Ryde repeated the feat, and the six-title record still stood going into the 2026 season.
Donington Park is reached by road from the M1, the nearest railway station is East Midlands Parkway, and East Midlands Airport's terminal is about five minutes from the main entrance. Postcodes, motorway junctions and the full route guide are on the Donington Park venue page, which covers travel for every event at the circuit, BSB weekends included.
MotorSport Vision (MSV) runs the British Superbike Championship through MotorSport Vision Racing, and its Series Director is Stuart Higgs. MSV, whose Chief Executive is Jonathan Palmer, has also run Donington Park since 2017, so the championship and the circuit share an operator.
The 2026 Showdown was set at three circuits: Assen on 18 to 20 September, Donington Park for its October round, and Brands Hatch on 16 to 18 October for the finale. The Showdown is the closing stretch of the British Superbike season, the final rounds that decide the title.
