Goodwood Revival hospitality: where each venue watches the racing
Goodwood's Revival hospitality page lists six venues: Salvadori Restaurant, The Officers' Club, Commanding Officers' Table, The Goodwood Mess, The Village Hall and The Kennels Dining Room. Three face the start straight, and the others watch from the chicane, Woodcote Corner and the grandstands. The three on the straight are all steps from the paddocks and the assembly area, where Goodwood says you can see drivers prepare to race, and close to the Freddie March Spirit of Aviation, its concours of historic aircraft.
- Salvadori Restaurant sits right on the chicane, the last corner of the lap, in what Goodwood describes as 1950s Art Deco pavilions. Its balcony and garden look across Woodcote Corner and the chicane, and it takes its name from Roy Salvadori, who won the 1959 Le Mans 24 Hours.
- The Officers' Club has raised trackside viewing along the start straight, and Goodwood says its informal private garden looks onto the start line.
- Commanding Officers' Table watches from a raised platform right up against the track on the start straight.
- The Goodwood Mess has banked trackside viewing over the start and finish straight, right by the start/finish line.
- The Village Hall is on Woodcote Corner, which Goodwood calls arguably the most challenging corner of the track, with its own grandstand over the corner and the Revival High Street close by.
- The Kennels Dining Room is at The Kennels, Goodwood's members' clubhouse away from the circuit, with shuttles to and from the track and roving grandstand access once there.

Will your group have its own table at the Revival?
The Village Hall has offered the Goodwood Revival's clearest private option: a private table for ten, or a place at a shared table. The Officers' Club and Commanding Officers' Table list a table for the day and an informal private garden, and The Goodwood Mess lists a table for the day, though some parties may be seated at a shared table.
Salvadori lists a shared table for the day, which Goodwood says is perfect for smaller bookings. The Kennels Dining Room states no table format, and none of the six gives a minimum or maximum group size.
For client entertaining, where the point of the day is a private conversation, the closer fit is Commanding Officers' Table: of the two venues with an informal private garden, it is the one Goodwood pitches as fittingly formal. Goodwood calls the other, The Officers' Club, smart yet relaxed, but its listing also promises a spirited atmosphere and theatrical surprises. The Village Hall's private table for ten and The Goodwood Mess suit a team day out, since Goodwood bills both with music, and the Mess with dancing. Salvadori's shared tables work for a couple or a small celebration happy to meet other guests, and The Kennels Dining Room, which Goodwood calls a tranquil and relaxed members' clubhouse, suits guests who want a calm base away from the circuit.
What food and drink does Goodwood Revival hospitality serve?
Goodwood Revival hospitality lunches run from sharing platters to four plated courses. The Goodwood Mess has listed sharing platters, then food stations and a dessert buffet, rather than a plated meal. Commanding Officers' Table has listed canapés and a four-course lunch with a sharing cheese platter, Salvadori a four-course plated lunch, The Officers' Club and The Village Hall a three-course plated lunch, and The Kennels Dining Room a three-course chef's table lunch.
The Kennels Dining Room is the one venue that has listed a choice for the afternoon: tea back at the clubhouse, or a cream tea hamper to collect at the circuit.
Every venue has listed drinks through the day, and four have listed a drinks reception: The Officers' Club, The Goodwood Mess, The Village Hall and Commanding Officers' Table, where it is a cocktail reception. Only The Officers' Club and Commanding Officers' Table list spirits. Alcohol is served to over-18s only, and ID may be required.
What does Goodwood Revival hospitality add to an admission ticket?
On top of what an admission ticket gives, Goodwood Revival hospitality adds a table, lunch and a place to watch the racing from. Goodwood's Admission Only ticket covers entry to the event, Over the Road and the evening festivities, and free parking, but not grandstand access. Each hospitality listing also includes early event access, with no time given, and paddock access, though Goodwood does not say how that differs from an admission ticket.
Goodwood sells grandstand access as separate ticket options. Of the six hospitality venues, only The Village Hall, with its own grandstand, and The Kennels Dining Room, with roving grandstand access, list grandstand access; the other four have trackside viewing of their own.
Central Paddock access works differently. It is a benefit of full membership of the Goodwood Road Racing Club (GRRC), not of its Fellowship, and a Member can bring a guest in on an extra pass. Goodwood's hospitality listings include paddock access but do not say whether that covers the Central Paddock.

What is the Goodwood Revival?
The Goodwood Revival is a three-day historic motor racing meeting held each September at Goodwood Motor Circuit near Chichester, recreating the circuit's original racing era of 1948 to 1966 with cars and motorcycles of the period. The Duke of Richmond, then Earl of March, created it in 1998, and it typically draws around 150,000 people across its three days. The next one is Goodwood Revival 2027.
Is the Revival a good day for guests who are not car fans?
Yes: the Goodwood Revival runs a period festival alongside its racing. The Freddie March Spirit of Aviation is a concours for pre-1966 aircraft, and a dawn patrol flypast of historic aircraft opens the event. Over the Road, which an admission ticket includes, has a vintage funfair and the Revival Car Show, while the Revival High Street and a replica of the Earls Court Motor Show fill the time between races.

How is the Revival different from the Festival of Speed and the Members' Meeting?
The Goodwood Revival is Goodwood's September meeting at Goodwood Motor Circuit, and its two sister motorsport events differ in place, season or entry. The Goodwood Festival of Speed runs in July in the parkland around Goodwood House, not at the circuit, and the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2027 is set for 15 to 18 July 2027.
The Members' Meeting uses the same circuit in spring, with the 84th on 10 to 11 April 2027, but it is open only to GRRC Members and Fellows, and its grids include cars from after 1966. Glorious Goodwood is different again: it is horse racing, at Goodwood Racecourse.
How has the Revival changed in recent years?
In recent years the Goodwood Revival has taken on its first presenting partner, rebuilt its Sunday as a finale and moved every race onto sustainable fuel. The 2026 edition, themed La Dolce Vita, ran from Friday 18 to Sunday 20 September as the first presented by Dunlop, and André Lotterer took his third RAC TT Celebration win, sharing a Jaguar E-type with Lukas Halusa.
The rebuilt Sunday let spectators onto the grid before the RAC TT Celebration and paraded the drivers by vintage bus. The Lavant Cup, for 1950s Ferrari and Maserati sports cars, and the Brooklands Trophy, for pre-1939 sports cars, returned to the programme, and the Stirling Moss Memorial Trophy went back to its traditional Friday evening slot. Off the track, Ancestry began a three-year partnership with the 2026 Revival, presenting its Best Dressed Competition.
Since 2024 every race at the Revival has run on sustainable fuel with at least 70% advanced sustainable components, a drop-in fuel that needs no changes to the cars. The move won the event Motorsport UK's Environmental Sustainability Award, which the Duke of Richmond collected in January 2025.

None lists accommodation or travel to Goodwood. What changes from venue to venue is the lunch, the view of the track and whether your group has a table to itself.
Ticket booking for the 2027 Goodwood Revival began on 21 September 2026 with a priority window: Members and Fellows of the Goodwood Road Racing Club (GRRC), along with 2026 ticket holders, could book first. Before booking the Goodwood Revival, a company should check its gifts and hospitality policy, then pick a day. The Ministry of Justice's Bribery Act 2010 guidance says the Government does not intend the Act to prohibit reasonable and proportionate hospitality, and leaves each organisation to set its own standards. In 2026, Friday was practice-led, Saturday had the most racing and Sunday built to the RAC TT Celebration; Goodwood Revival 2027 compares the three days.
Hospitality guests reach the Goodwood Revival by rail, road or air, and only The Kennels Dining Room lists parking of its own. Goodwood's general car parks are free grass fields under its current guidance. The nearest station is Chichester, linked to the circuit by a paid shuttle bus, and Goodwood Aerodrome, inside the circuit, takes helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft up to 12 metres long. None of Goodwood's six hospitality venues at the Revival has a dress code on its listing. Goodwood's one written rule covers Central Paddock: jacket and tie for men, dress or suit for women, for those with access, and the listings leave open whether a hospitality badge gives that access. The ground is the first thing to plan around: the Goodwood Revival site is largely grass and gravel, some of it uneven or steep. Goodwood offers disabled guests a free courtesy shuttle to the entrance from the car park, and period vehicles for guests with reduced mobility, though not all suit every mobility need. Yes. Rain has not cost the Goodwood Revival a day in any of its last three editions, 2024 to 2026. In 2024 it rained on all three days and one Sunday race was cut short; in 2025 the RAC TT Celebration was red-flagged, then restarted as the rain arrived. In wet or adverse weather, Goodwood's ticket terms say extra care must be taken on grass, paths and steps.
Yes. Children can come to the Goodwood Revival, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult with a valid event ticket. Goodwood publishes no separate age rule for its hospitality venues. The Revival even has a race for them: the Settrington Cup, a two-part race in Austin J40 pedal cars for four- to ten-year-olds, run on the Motor Circuit itself.
