Matchroom Boxing returns to Australia on Wednesday 12 August 2026 for a card headlined by unbeaten heavyweight prospect Teremoana Teremoana, with Michael Zerafa making his Matchroom debut and Australian contender Jack Bowen also on the bill. The full card is not yet finalised, and two of its biggest names, Zerafa and Bowen, do not yet have named opponents. This page sets out exactly what is confirmed, what is still open, and clears up two questions we are seeing a lot of.

Who is fighting on the Matchroom Gold Coast card?

As of 17 July 2026, the confirmed main event is Teremoana Teremoana against DeAndre Savage for the heavyweight top-of-the-bill, with Michael Zerafa signed for the co-main slot and Jack Bowen on the undercard, both without opponents yet. Two flyweight bouts have also been announced by press release. The list below sets out every bout confirmed so far, with the status of each.

• Jack Bowen (13-1, 10 KOs) vs TBD: Super middleweight. On the card, confirmed; opponent not announced (Matchroom press release, corroborated by boxing press).
• Jasmine Parr (8-2, 3 KOs) vs Jemma Peart (9-1, 3 KOs): Flyweight. Confirmed via press release; not yet listed on the official event page.
• Lekaysha Woodbridge (4-0, 3 KOs) vs Sothita Sitthichai (13-5, 4 KOs): Flyweight. Confirmed via press release; not yet listed on the official event page.

Matchroom itself has described the card as not yet finalised, and further bouts may be added or amended before fight week. We will only update this page when Matchroom's own channels confirm a change.

Is Michael Zerafa fighting Jack Bowen?

No. Zerafa and Bowen are booked in two separate bouts on the same 12 August card, not against each other. Zerafa is in the co-main event, currently without a named opponent, and Bowen is a separate bout further down the undercard, also without a named opponent. No source, including Matchroom's own event page, pairs the two men against each other.

Who is Michael Zerafa's opponent?

Not yet named. Zerafa's Matchroom promotional debut is confirmed for the co-main slot on 12 August, but as of 17 July 2026 the official Matchroom event page shows his opponent only as a blank placeholder, with no name attached. His division for this bout is being reported as middleweight, but that cannot be treated as fixed until an opponent, and the terms of the bout, are actually announced. We are not going to guess a name here, and any page that gives you one is ahead of the official record.

Who is Jack Bowen fighting?

Also not yet named. The WBO-ranked super middleweight is confirmed as part of the 12 August undercard, but no opponent has been announced for him either. The boxing press covering the card has reported that an opponent for Bowen is expected to be confirmed alongside the rest of the finalised card, so this is one to watch rather than one to assume.

Is Ryan Garcia vs Conor Benn on this card?

No. Ryan Garcia against Conor Benn is a separate event entirely: a different promotion, reported for Saturday 12 September 2026 in Las Vegas, not for the Gold Coast, and it has not been officially confirmed by either fighter's promoter. It sits exactly one month after this Gold Coast card, on the same day of the month, which is an easy pair of dates to mix up, but they are unconnected shows on different continents.
