Mariah Carey Manchester 2026: Christmastime at Co-op Live

Mariah Carey brings Christmastime to Co-op Live on Wednesday 2 December 2026. It is the last of her three arena shows in Birmingham, London and Manchester, and her first Manchester show since December 2017. Co-op Live lists premium doors at 18:00, half an hour before general admission, and a 19:30 start with DJ Suss One supporting. Private suites take groups of up to 16.

Because 2 December is a Wednesday, the night runs on weeknight transport: Metrolink trams until around midnight rather than 01:00, and a last direct train to London Euston shortly after 22:00. The run opens at Utilita Arena Birmingham on Friday 27 November and plays The Arena London on Monday 30 November. How do the doors work at Co-op Live on 2 December?

Co-op Live opens its doors in three stages for Mariah Carey on Wednesday 2 December 2026. Entry on the venue's own early-entry package starts at 17:30, premium doors open at 18:00, general admission follows at 18:30 and the show starts at 19:30 with DJ Suss One. That package, the venue says, gives no early access to the main floor, so it is no route to the front.

What hospitality does Co-op Live offer on the Mariah Carey night?

Co-op Live's private suites take groups of up to 16, each with in-suite catering from menus ordered in advance, a private bar, a dedicated host and premium seats on a private viewing platform just outside the suite. Suite guests arrive early through a premium entrance. Drinks are for over-18s only, and staff may ask for ID.

Co-op Live holds 23,500 and is the UK's largest indoor arena. Its suites sit on Level 2, alongside a premium restaurant and a club lounge. The lounge is open before and after the show and has its own premium entrance, bars and dining, plus a designated premium seat for each guest. Level 4 has two further lounges. Every floor is step-free, and four public lifts reach all levels. Bars and restaurants have lowered counters. The venue's accessibility handbook says accessible seating and viewing platforms are spread through the building, with locations that vary by event, so a wheelchair user should confirm the view from a Level 2 suite with the venue's access team.

The same team takes dietary requirements and allergies before the visit. Entrance B is the venue's dedicated accessible entrance, a hearing loop covers the bowl, there is a respite room on Level 1, and assistance dogs are supported.

Can under-16s stand at Mariah Carey's Manchester show?

Under-16s cannot stand at Mariah Carey's Manchester show on Wednesday 2 December 2026, and Co-op Live says it may re-seat or remove a child who appears to be under 16. Anyone aged 14 or under must also be with an adult aged 18 or over. So a 15-year-old needs a seated ticket, and anyone 14 or under needs a seated ticket and that adult with them.

Getting back into Manchester on a Wednesday night

Etihad Campus tram stop is right beside Co-op Live, and Manchester Piccadilly is about ten minutes away by tram. On a Wednesday, TfGM runs Metrolink until around midnight, not the 01:00 finish it keeps for Fridays and Saturdays. It says hours can be extended for major events, so its last-tram times for 2 December are worth checking in the week of the show. After events, the nearby Velopark and Holt Town stops close, so Etihad Campus is the stop for the ride back.

For anyone walking, the venue's step-free CityLink route to Piccadilly station takes about 25 minutes, marked by blue lampposts through Ancoats, New Islington and Holt Town. The route is well lit and covered by CCTV, with helpers along it on event days. The venue also says TfGM shuttle buses run after higher-capacity events, but it has not said whether 2 December is one, so check its travel page nearer the night.

Trains to London, Leeds and Liverpool

The last direct train from Manchester Piccadilly to London Euston on Wednesday 2 December leaves shortly after 22:00, so guests going back to London should plan an overnight stay in Manchester or a car home. Leeds is the easiest late journey, because trains from Piccadilly to Leeds keep running through the night. The last direct trains to Liverpool Lime Street leave Manchester before midnight. Engineering work can still change late services, so look up the date on National Rail's journey planner in the week before.

Parking and taxis

Official parking at Co-op Live must be booked online in advance, and spaces are normally released up to four weeks before an event.
