About

Andrea Bocelli brings his Romanza 30th anniversary tour to four UK arenas between 29 September and 9 October 2027: Birmingham, London, Manchester and Glasgow. Each arena runs its own hospitality, from premium lounge seats with dinner to private suites.

Romanza reaches its 30th anniversary in 2027, and Bocelli is marking it with a full world tour. The timing is neat: the album came out in September 1997, and the Birmingham opener lands in the same month three decades on.

About the Romanza album

Romanza was Bocelli's first compilation album, gathering songs from his first two pop records, Il mare calmo della sera (1994) and Bocelli (1995). It's the record that made his name far beyond Italy. The track list includes 'Con te partirò', 'Vivo per lei' with Giorgia, 'Caruso' and the title song, and the international edition closes with 'Time to Say Goodbye', his duet with Sarah Brightman.

The album has sold more than 20 million copies, and Classic FM and the Press Association both describe it as the best-selling Italian-language album of all time. In the UK it reached number 6 on the albums chart and went platinum, a strong result for a record sung mostly in Italian.

What has been announced so far

The Romanza tour opened in North America on 7 February 2026, at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio. The four UK dates were announced on 28 September 2026, when Bocelli told the Press Association he was "incredibly excited to be returning to the UK in 2027".

London has one extra detail. The Arena's listing for 1 October mentions a special guest without naming them. The other three venues list no support at all. No credible report has named the guest, so this page does not speculate.

No UK setlist, orchestra or choir has been published either. The show is billed around Romanza, which makes the album's songs the obvious backbone of the night. Which ones, and in what order, isn't public yet. My read: I wouldn't print 'Time to Say Goodbye' on an invitation until a setlist is out, however likely it feels.

The four UK arena dates

  • Wednesday 29 September 2027: Utilita Arena Birmingham. Doors 6pm, show 7pm.
  • Friday 1 October 2027: The Arena, London. Doors 6.30pm, start time not yet published.
  • Tuesday 5 October 2027: Co-op Live, Manchester. Premium doors 6pm, general doors 6.30pm.
  • Saturday 9 October 2027: OVO Hydro, Glasgow. Doors 6.30pm, start time to be confirmed by the venue.

Those are the only UK arena dates announced. Bocelli also headlines Principality Stadium on 8 May 2027 at the Land of Song Festival, a separate stadium concert rather than part of this tour, with its own hospitality: see Andrea Bocelli in Cardiff.

Choosing a night

If I were hosting, I would look first at Birmingham on 29 September. It is the first UK night of the run, the only date with a published start time, and every Birmingham package above basic lounge access includes parking. That matters on a Wednesday, when guests drive straight in from the office. A 7pm start also gets people home at a sensible hour before a working Thursday.

The catch is geography. For a group based in the south-east, a Wednesday in the Midlands costs an afternoon of travel, and London may be the easier trip.

London falls on a Friday, so nobody has to be sharp the next morning. Manchester's Tuesday offers a choice of rooms, from a lively club to private suites. Glasgow is the only weekend date, which makes it the obvious one when partners are invited.

Hospitality at each arena

Utilita Arena Birmingham

The arena lists four premium tiers for this concert, each with priority entry and a premium-category seat:

  • Premium Lounge Access: private bar and lounge access.
  • Premium Lounge & Drink: a welcome drink, parking, lounge access and a food menu to order from.
  • Premium Dine & Drink: a dish from the premium dining menu, one drink, lounge access and parking.
  • Premium All-Inclusive: chef-curated dining in the flagship lounge, a drinks selection included with the meal and throughout the show, and parking.

For entertaining, Premium All-Inclusive is the most complete of the four. A guest who has to queue at a bar for their own drink stops feeling hosted.

The Arena, London

The venue's single-event range covers the Lounges and The Terrace (both Level 1 bar stool seating), Suite 337, a Shared Suite for smaller groups, private suite hire, Club 101 and The NinetyThird. The Shared Suite is sized for smaller groups, while suite hire gives one group a whole room for the night. There is more on the building in our guide to The Arena, London.

Co-op Live, Manchester

For 5 October the arena lists the Co-op Backstage Club package: a show ticket plus entry to the club from 5.30pm, up to an hour before general doors, with its own bar, food to buy, arcade games, pool and private toilets. It's built for a lively night out. For a client dinner I'd look instead at The Club by Barclays or the OVO Lounge, both offered as premium tickets, or at one-off access to the private suites, which the venue opens for single events.

OVO Hydro, Glasgow

The Hydro offers two premium seating areas for this show. The Terrace on Level 2 comes with fast-track entry, a reserved seat at the front of the level, in-seat food and drink service and a welcome drink. The Nest on Level 3 gives private reserved seats, fast-track entry and access to the Capital Starsuite and Clubhouse lounges before and after the show. Both are reached by stairs, so raise any step-free needs early.

Getting there

  • Birmingham: a short walk from New Street, Moor Street, Snow Hill and Five Ways stations. The West Car Park is kept for pre-booked and hospitality guests, and the arena sits inside the city's Clean Air Zone.
  • London: North Greenwich on the Jubilee line, about 20 minutes from central London, with a river bus pier three minutes' walk from the main entrance.
  • Manchester: the Etihad Campus tram stop is beside the arena, about ten minutes from Piccadilly. The CityLink walking route from Piccadilly takes around 25 minutes.
  • Glasgow: Exhibition Centre station, three minutes by train from Glasgow Central low level, with about six trains an hour.

For his wider career, see our Andrea Bocelli page, and for similar nights, our classical and orchestral concerts. Choosing the city first, then the room, usually makes the decision simpler. If you would like help with either, talk to our team.

Frequently Asked Questions

The UK leg runs from Wednesday 29 September to Saturday 9 October 2027 across four arenas: Utilita Arena Birmingham first, then The Arena, London on 1 October, Co-op Live in Manchester on 5 October and OVO Hydro in Glasgow on 9 October.

The Birmingham show on 29 September 2027 starts at 7pm, with doors at 6pm. It's the only UK date with a published start time so far, so plan to eat in the lounge in the hour after doors.

The Arena, London's listing for Friday 1 October 2027 says Bocelli plays with a special guest, but no name had been published by 22 October 2026. The Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow listings show no support act.

Romanza, released in September 1997, includes 'Con te partirò', 'Vivo per lei', 'Caruso', 'Il mare calmo della sera' and, on the international edition, 'Time to Say Goodbye' with Sarah Brightman. The UK arena shows are billed around the album, but treat any single song as likely rather than promised until a setlist appears.

The Cardiff concert on 8 May 2027 is a stadium show at Principality Stadium, headlining the Land of Song Festival, while the Romanza tour plays four indoor arenas in September and October. They are separate events, each with its own venue hospitality.

Call Prestige Corporate Events on 0333 305 5377 or use the enquiry form, saying which of the four arenas you are interested in and your group size, for example Premium All-Inclusive in Birmingham on 29 September 2027. Mention step-free needs early, as Glasgow's premium seating is reached by stairs.
