Its naming sponsor, Three Ireland, runs the other two club and bar spaces, the Three+ Lounge and Club 3. The Point stop on the Luas Red Line is just beside the arena. HOK Sport (now Populous) designed the building for its 2008 reopening.

Located at North Wall Quay in Dublin 1, 3Arena is an indoor arena with an amphitheatre-style auditorium. The venue reopened in 2008 on the site of the Point, which had staged live entertainment since 1988. It sits behind the listed facade of the old quayside warehouse, with a capacity of 13,000.

Accessibility Notes
The venue advises guests with mobility needs to book its accessible area, in the flat seating area or the lower tier from Block A to Block G. A lift runs up to the accessible seating level. Wheelchairs are not permitted on the ground floor during any show, and the venue handles special access requests directly.

The seated tiers run in lettered blocks from A to P alongside a standing floor, in a room that holds up to 13,000. For mobility needs or vertigo, the venue advises the flat seating area or the lower tier from Block A to Block G.
3Arena is on the Luas Red Line, with The Point stop just beside the venue, and Irish Rail passengers can change onto the Luas at Connolly or Heuston. Dublin Bus route 151 stops on Castleforbes Road, about a two-minute walk away. Parking is limited to The Point Village car park, which 3Arena does not operate.
Under-twos are not admitted to 3Arena, its standing floor is for over-14s at every show, and wheelchairs are not permitted on the ground floor during any show. Bags may not exceed 40cm by 40cm by 20cm, and there is no cloakroom and no re-admission. Some shows add their own age rules. The venue gets stage times only the day before or on the day, so check your ticket for door times before travelling.
