Is Oasis touring in 2027?

Nothing is officially confirmed. As of today there are no official Oasis tour dates, no confirmed venues and no on-sale from the band, a promoter or a stadium. If you have searched for an Oasis UK tour 2027 and found a lot of headlines, that is exactly the problem: the entire 2027 story rests on one report in the Manchester Evening News from early July 2026, which cited an unnamed "industry insider" rather than anyone on the record.

That report has since been picked up by LADbible, Rolling Stone UK and others. It is worth being clear about what that means: it is one source, syndicated widely, not several outlets each confirming the story independently. Plenty of people repeating a rumour is not the same as the rumour being confirmed. We will move this straight to the top of the page, same day, the moment anything official lands.

Will Oasis tour in 2026?

No. In December 2025, Liam posted on X that the band would do nothing in 2026 aside from a single one-off appearance, and pointed to 2027 as the earliest anything else might happen. He has needled the 2026-versus-2027 question a few times since, in the way only Liam does, but he has not walked the "nothing in 2026" line back. So if you have seen anything claiming a full 2026 schedule of dates, treat it with real suspicion. It runs directly against what Liam himself has said.

What has been reported about a 2027 tour

Here is the reported and rumoured detail, labelled honestly:

• Rumour (_Manchester Evening News_, early July 2026): a 12-night residency at Manchester's Etihad Stadium across May and June 2027, with talk of possibly stretching to as many as 20 nights, plus a return to Knebworth as part of a wider tour. The circumstantial hints doing the rounds are a Manchester hotel reportedly booked out for the period and Parklife shifting its 2027 dates. All of it traces to the same single anonymous source.
• Fan rumour amplified by the band (3 July 2026): asked on X about the reported "12 nights", Liam replied "12 I thought it was 10 ffs". That is a tease, not a confirmation, and certainly not a denial, but it is not the band announcing anything either.
• Betting-market speculation (8 July 2026): William Hill priced Oasis at 6/1 to headline Glastonbury 2027. Bookmaker odds reflect betting interest, not a booking. Glastonbury's organisers have said nothing.

None of the above is confirmed. If you are weighing up whether to get excited, the honest answer is: it is a genuinely buzzing rumour with a lot of smoke, and no official fire yet.

Which venues could host an Oasis 2027 tour?

All rumour, nothing confirmed. If there is an Oasis UK tour 2027, the venues doing the rounds all trace back to that same single Manchester Evening News report. Here is what has been floated, labelled honestly:

• Manchester (Rumour). The headline claim is a multi-night residency at Manchester's Etihad Stadium across May and June 2027. The Oasis Manchester 2027 talk is the strongest thread in the rumour, but it rests on one anonymous insider, not the band, the promoter or the stadium.
• Knebworth (Rumour). A return to Knebworth as part of a wider tour, tied to the 30th anniversary of the legendary 1996 shows in August 2026. The Oasis Knebworth 2027 talk is emotionally powerful because of that history, but the band issued an official statement in September 2024 saying they would not play Knebworth. That predates the current chatter, so we would not lean on it as a fresh denial either.
• London (Rumour). A London stadium show has been mentioned in the wider speculation. Nothing has been confirmed, and we are not going to name a venue for a show that does not exist yet.

None of these is a date in the diary. The moment an official venue and on-sale are announced, they move to the top of this page the same day.

What Oasis has actually confirmed

Strip away the rumours and here is what is genuinely on the record:

• The documentary. Don't Look Back in Anger, directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace and executive produced by Steven Knight, is confirmed for cinemas and IMAX from 11 September 2026, streaming later on Disney+ and Hulu. It features the first joint Liam and Noel interview in more than 25 years. The first teaser dropped on 4 July 2026, from the band's own channels. This is the one solid, dated, official piece of new Oasis activity between now and 2027.
• Rome, sort of. Greeting fans in Rome on 23 April 2026, Liam said the band would play the city "without a doubt, 100 per cent". It was an off-the-cuff line caught on a fan's phone, not a formal announcement, so we log it as reported rather than confirmed. It is the only specific European-city hint so far.

The 2025 reunion, by the numbers

This part is not speculation. It already happened, and it tells you why demand for Oasis is on a different scale to almost anything else.

• The Oasis Live '25 tour ran from 4 July 2025 in Cardiff to 23 November 2025 in São Paulo: 41 concerts across 14 countries.
• Total reported attendance was around 2.23 million across 36 shows, with box-office gross of roughly £398 million, making it the second-highest-grossing tour of 2025.
• The North American on-sale in October 2024 sold out within an hour.
• For the UK and Ireland on-sale in August 2024, reports at the time put the queue at anywhere from 10 million to around 14 million people chasing roughly 1.4 million tickets across the 17 shows.

The plain reading of all that: for the last tour, demand ran far ahead of the number of tickets. That is context for why people plan ahead for a band like this. It is not a promise that any future tour will sell out, and we are not going to dress it up as one.

What might Oasis play live?

We cannot give you a 2027 setlist, because there is no 2027 tour. Any specific song list for a future show is pure speculation. What we can do is look at the 2025 reunion shows, which are the best guide to what a live Oasis set looks like now.

Based on the 2025 reunion shows, the set opened with "Hello" and ran through staples including "Roll With It", "Some Might Say", "Don't Look Back in Anger" and "Wonderwall", with fan-favourite deep cuts such as "Slide Away", "Supersonic" and "Morning Glory" landing consistently across the run (Reported, via Time Out and Official Charts). "Champagne Supernova" served as the epic closer, and "Live Forever" stayed one of the emotional high points of the night.

If a new tour is confirmed, expect the shape to be similar: the era-defining singles, a handful of deep cuts for the long-time fans, and "Don't Look Back in Anger" as the moment the whole crowd sings back. That is a reasonable expectation based on 2025, not a confirmed 2027 setlist.

What the ticket controversy actually was

You will remember the 2025 on-sale being messy, and it is worth getting the facts right, because they are widely misremembered.

During the UK and Ireland on-sale, some standing tickets jumped from around £150 to around £355 once the lower-priced allocation sold out. The Competition and Markets Authority investigated and published its findings in September 2025. Crucially, the CMA said it found no evidence of "dynamic" or algorithmic pricing of the kind many fans assumed. What it did find was a transparency failure: fans queuing for hours were not told that standing tickets were being sold in two fixed price tiers, or that the price would rise once the lower-priced tier ran out. The ticketing operator gave legally binding undertakings to fix that, including giving fans at least 24 hours' notice of tiered pricing and showing the range of prices in the queue.

So it was a tiered-pricing transparency problem, not a "dynamic pricing scandal". We are careful about the difference because misstating a regulator's own finding helps nobody, least of all the fans who lived through the queue.

Knebworth 1996, 30 years on

Part of why the Knebworth rumour lands so hard is the history. In August 1996, Oasis played two nights at Knebworth House where around 2.5 million people applied for tickets, commonly cited as roughly 5 per cent of the entire UK population at the time. It sold out in record time and became the high-water mark of the whole era.

The 30th anniversary falls in August 2026, which is exactly why every "are they going back to Knebworth" story gets written the way it does. For the record, the band issued an official statement back in September 2024 saying they would not play Knebworth, though that predates all of the current 2027 chatter, so we would not lean on it as a fresh denial either. Like everything else about 2027, a Knebworth return is a maybe, not a date in the diary.

How hospitality worked for the 2025 shows

For the 2025 London shows, official hospitality packages were sold through official agents, with options ranging from shared premium seating and lounge access up to private boxes for groups. It is a real, precedented product, not something invented for a rumour.
