Spice Girls Tour 2026: What Has Actually Been Announced

No Spice Girls tour has been announced. No dates, no venues, no tickets, no promoter. If you have seen a site selling seats for a 30th anniversary reunion tour, it is selling something that does not exist.

That is worth saying first, because the last week has produced a lot of noise.

On 9 September the band posted a countdown across their social accounts: "10.09.2026 | 2pm BST", over a short film shot at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London, the building where the Wannabe video was made, scored with the opening of Wannabe itself. Fans were told they would need a vinyl or CD player. Thirty years of muscle memory did the rest. By the morning of the 10th, half the internet had them back on stage.

The announcement, when it came, was a box set.

The Singles Collection lands on 6 November 2026, in two limited formats: a 14-disc run of coloured 7-inch vinyl, and a CD edition carrying 160 tracks. Every single, the B-sides, the rare remixes, and demos that have never been released, including one called Do You Think About Me. The packaging is handbag-shaped, white holographic gloss and black foil, with art cards, an acrylic 30th anniversary charm and a booklet carrying new written messages from all five of them.

It is a lovely object. It is not a tour.

What the band have actually said

This is the part the rumour cycle keeps skipping, and it is the only part that carries any weight.

Mel C was asked directly in March, on Australian radio. Her answer: "No there is no reunion." She softened it afterwards, and the softening is genuine rather than diplomatic: "We are communicating all the time. We want to do something. Who knows when, but I still feel very optimistic."

Mel B went further in April, speaking to HELLO!. "I can tell you it's not happening. If it does, it'll be a shock to me, let's put it that way." On touring specifically, she was blunt about why: "I'm 50. You can't be nagging everyone to go on tour if they don't want to. I laid that to rest when I turned 50."

Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell-Horner and Victoria Beckham have said nothing on the record about a reunion this year. Anyone telling you where those three stand is guessing.

The rumours, and who is actually behind them

Two stories have travelled a long way on very little.

The Sun reported in March that anniversary shows had been planned and then collapsed when the five failed to reach an agreement. The band has never confirmed that shows were ever booked in the first place. A Netflix documentary and a Las Vegas Sphere residency were reported as in development and then shelved, sourced to nobody in particular. Netflix has not confirmed it. Sphere Entertainment has not confirmed it. The band has not confirmed it.

Four of the five were photographed together at Mel C's wedding in Cumbria in July, which tells you they are on good terms and nothing else at all.

The scam worth knowing about

A site trading as spicegirls2026.com is advertising a "30th Anniversary Reunion Tour". There is no tour to sell tickets to. The usual rule applies with more force than normal this month: if a show has not been announced by the artist, nobody has stock, and anyone taking your card details has nothing to send you.

What a reunion would actually look like

Worth grounding the speculation in the two data points that exist.

In 2019, four of them played Spice World across the UK and Ireland: Croke Park, the Principality, Etihad, Ricoh Arena, Stadium of Light, Murrayfield, Ashton Gate, and three nights in London. 697,357 people went. Victoria Beckham sat that one out, the only tour she has missed.

In 2007 and 2008, all five did The Return of the Spice Girls: 45 shows, 581,066 tickets, and 17 nights at The Arena, London alone, sixteen of them added after the first sold out.

Those are stadium and arena numbers. If a 2026 or 2027 tour ever happens, that is the scale it would happen at, and that is the scale at which hospitality gets planned a long way in advance.

Where this leaves you

Nothing to book, and nobody honest is taking bookings. The next real date in the diary is 6 November, when the box set arrives, and 4 November, when Spice turns thirty.
