About
Erasure's Radio!! Radio!! Tour opens at Utilita Arena Cardiff on Sunday 25 April 2027, the first of the band's 2027 UK and Ireland dates. Andy Bell fronts the show, and the band's billing names Ladytron as special guests. Vince Clarke is musical director for the tour and will not appear onstage. For the opening night the arena lists two premium options, The Suite Experience, with a two-course dinner in the L2 Restaurant for 1 to 18 guests, and the Energise Club, a hosted Level 1 club lounge for 16.
Which premium options does Utilita Arena Cardiff offer on Erasure's opening night?
Utilita Arena Cardiff offers two premium options for Erasure's opening night on 25 April 2027, and the main difference is dinner. The Suite Experience starts with a two-course meal in the L2 Restaurant and takes 1 to 18 guests. The Energise Club is a hosted Level 1 club lounge with its own bar, for 16 guests or 25 on private hire. Both come through the hospitality entrance with a VIP wristband.
- Energise Club: a Level 1 club lounge with its own bar and a host, entry through the hospitality entrance under the front canopy, allocated seating on the lower level or the Deck level, a VIP wristband and a commemorative ticket. It takes 16 guests, or 25 on private hire.
- The Suite Experience: a two-course meal in the L2 Restaurant, a drink on arrival (draught beer or cider, house wine or a soft drink), a shared private suite with a bar before the show, seats on the Level 1 balcony, a VIP wristband and a souvenir ticket, for 1 to 18 guests.
Alcohol is for over-18s only, and ID may be required.
What does neither option include?
Neither option includes parking, because Utilita Arena Cardiff has no on-site audience parking. No food is listed with the Energise Club, so a group that wants dinner before the show is looking at The Suite Experience. The Suite Experience is not accessible currently, and in the Energise Club the Deck seating is not accessible because it sits on a small platform, although the club seating itself is.
Is Erasure's Cardiff opener seated, and what are the age rules?
Erasure's opening night at Utilita Arena Cardiff is all-seated, and under 14s must be with an adult aged 18 or over; both rules come from the band's official concerts page.
How do you reach Utilita Arena Cardiff without on-site parking?
Utilita Arena Cardiff is on Mary Ann Street, CF10 2EQ, a few minutes' walk from two stations: Cardiff Central for trains from most directions, and Cardiff Queen Street for trains from the Valleys and Cardiff Bay. There is no on-site audience parking, so the arena lists nearby car parks for drivers, including St David's, with 120 disabled spaces, Adam Street NCP with 20 and John Lewis with 21. Cardiff Bus runs city-centre services. The arena opened in September 1993 and has also been called Cardiff International Arena and Motorpoint Arena Cardiff.
Does Utilita Arena Cardiff have accessible seating and hearing support?
Utilita Arena Cardiff runs a Live Access Scheme for pre-booked accessible seating, with companion or carer tickets bought at the point of purchase. It has an RF hearing system with a neck loop or headphones, against a refundable deposit at Reception, six accessible toilets (two each on the Ground floor, Level 1 and Level 2), lifts to all floors and a step-free ramp at the front entrance.
If anyone in your group has access needs, include them when you enquire about Erasure's opening night.
Why book Erasure's opening night at Utilita Arena Cardiff?
Utilita Arena Cardiff is the night for fans who want to be there first. It opens the Radio!! Radio!! Tour about six weeks after the band's 20th studio album, Radio!! Radio!!, comes out on Mute on Friday 12 March 2027, and it falls on Andy Bell's birthday. The album's single Wings of Love premiered on BBC Radio 2 on 28 September 2026.
A Sunday date suits a weekend group more than an after-work client night. The Suite Experience fits a sit-down dinner party of up to 18, and the Energise Club a hosted group of 16, or 25 on private hire.
