When does Fatboy Slim play Lytham Festival 2027?
Fatboy Slim plays Lytham Festival 2027 on Friday 2 July, the third of five nights running from Wednesday 30 June to Sunday 4 July 2027 on Lytham Green. The General Admission, Garden and accessible gates open at 5pm.
Who is Becky Hill, the Friday special guest?
Becky Hill is a dance-pop singer and songwriter. She released four singles between April and September 2026, "Hands On Me", "More! More! More!", "What Do I Have to Do?" and "Changes". Her second album, Believe Me Now?, reached number 3 in the UK in 2024. She has won two BRIT Awards, taking the BRIT Award for British Dance Act in 2022 and again in 2023. She was the first The Voice UK contestant to score a UK Number 1, with "Gecko (Overdrive)" alongside Oliver Heldens in 2014; it is one of her six UK top-10 singles.
Her Lytham Festival 2027 slot is a return visit. Announcing the night, Lytham Festival co-founder Peter Taylor said: "It will be nine years since she was last here and her career just goes from strength to strength, so it will be a pleasure to see her return to our stage."
Who is Fatboy Slim, the Friday headliner?
Fatboy Slim is the stage name of DJ and producer Norman Cook. He played four nights of Big Beach Boutique 7 on Brighton beach in the summer of 2026, starting on 16 July. In 2023 he was presented with four Guinness World Records, among them the record for the most UK number-one singles by one musician as a member of different acts: six number ones with six acts across the Official Charts.
He won the BRIT Award for British Dance Act in 1999 and 2001, and in 1999 became the first solo act to win it. He has also won a Grammy Award, Best Short Form Music Video for "Weapon of Choice" in 2002, and nine MTV Video Music Awards. His three main-chart number ones came under three names: The Housemartins ("Caravan of Love", 1986), Beats International ("Dub Be Good to Me", 1990) and Fatboy Slim ("Praise You", 1999).
Which festival tickets cover the Friday night?
Two single-night Lytham Festival tickets cover the Friday: General Admission and Lytham Festival's own VIP Garden Day Ticket.
What should you know before Friday night?
Five points from Lytham Festival's published guidance to plan around before the Fatboy Slim night:
- Bags no larger than A4. Rucksacks and backpacks are not allowed, and bags are searched at all entry points.
- No food or drink brought in, except that each person may bring one sealed water bottle of up to 500ml and one empty reusable bottle that is not metal.
- A cashless site. Every food outlet, bar and merchandise stall is cashless.
- Medication in its original packaging, with the prescription label visible; the name on your ID must match the prescription.
- A welfare team on site, offering emotional support, sun cream, phone charging, lost property help and help with lost children.
