The remaining F1 races of 2026
This free guide covers the last six of the remaining F1 races of 2026, from Austin on 25/10/2026 to the scheduled finale at Yas Marina on 06/12/2026. Of all the races left in the 2026 F1 season, these six run in two blocks of three on consecutive weekends, and none of them is a sprint weekend. As at 01/10/2026, Kimi Antonelli led George Russell by 66 points after the Azerbaijan Grand Prix on 26/09/2026. Here is what each weekend offers.
United States Grand Prix, Austin
Round 18, at the Circuit of The Americas, from 23/10/2026 to 25/10/2026. The race starts at 20:00 GMT on Sunday 25/10/2026, the same morning UK clocks go back. Everyone heads for Turn 1 first: the run to it climbs a gradient of more than 11 per cent to the highest point of the lap, and drivers brake into a corner they cannot see over. Straight after it, Turns 3 to 6 form a fast sequence of esses where the car is never pointing straight. Mexico City Grand Prix
Round 19, at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, from 30/10/2026 to 01/11/2026, with the race at 20:00 GMT on Sunday 01/11/2026. The circuit sits 2,238 metres above sea level, and the thin air costs the engines power and the wings grip, which makes this a weekend decided as much by engineering as by driving. The lap ends by threading through a former baseball stadium, with grandstands on both sides of the cars. The race also falls inside the Day of the Dead festivities, which UNESCO dates to the end of October and the beginning of November. São Paulo Grand Prix, Interlagos
Round 20, from 06/11/2026 to 08/11/2026. The race starts at 17:00 GMT on Sunday 08/11/2026, the earliest UK start of the three American rounds. Interlagos runs anticlockwise: it opens on a sort of half oval, drops through the Senna S, winds through an infield full of camber changes and climbs back to a banked final turn. Its bowl shape lets some grandstands look across several parts of the lap at once. The weather is the wild card, with rain that can switch from drizzle to a downpour quickly. Las Vegas Grand Prix
Round 21, from 19/11/2026 to 21/11/2026. This one races on a Saturday night: lights out at 20:00 local time on Saturday 21/11/2026, which is 04:00 GMT on Sunday 22/11/2026 in the UK. The 6.201km, 17-turn street circuit runs along the Strip past Caesars Palace and the Bellagio, and average speeds sit close to those at Monza. Qatar Grand Prix, Lusail
Round 22, from 27/11/2026 to 29/11/2026, with the race under floodlights at 19:00 local time, 16:00 GMT, on Sunday 29/11/2026. Lusail was built for Qatar's first MotoGP event in 2004, and Formula 1 first raced there in 2021. That explains the layout: fast and flowing, dominated by medium and high-speed corners, with a main straight of more than a kilometre into Turn 1. As at 01/10/2026 the round is still on the official calendar, but Formula 1 is expected to confirm by mid-October whether it goes ahead, with Imola reported as the standby venue. Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Yas Marina
Round 23, from 04/12/2026 to 06/12/2026, and the scheduled finale of the season. The race starts at 17:00 local time, 13:00 GMT, on Sunday 06/12/2026, beginning in daylight and finishing under floodlights. The 2021 redesign replaced a tight, slow sequence with a sweeping banked corner, and the 1.2km straight between Turns 5 and 6 remains the main overtaking zone. Like Qatar, the round is on the official calendar as at 01/10/2026, with a decision on both expected by mid-October and Imola reported as the fallback. The race starts at 20:00 local time on Saturday 21/11/2026, which is 04:00 GMT on Sunday 22/11/2026 in the UK. It is the only one of the six closing rounds that races on a Saturday night. UK clocks will already have gone back to GMT on 25/10/2026, so there is no British Summer Time adjustment to make.
No, and neither are any of the other five closing rounds. The 2026 season has six sprint weekends, and the last of them is Singapore, from 09/10/2026 to 11/10/2026. Austin, Mexico City, São Paulo, Las Vegas, Qatar and Abu Dhabi all run the standard format: three practice sessions, qualifying and the grand prix.
Not in the general spectator areas. Lusail International Circuit's own event information says alcohol is available only in its hospitality areas, and that you cannot bring alcoholic drinks into the venue. Outside food and drink is not allowed either, with the exception of baby food. If a drink matters to your group, it is worth knowing this before choosing where to watch from.
The race starts at 17:00 local time on Sunday 06/12/2026, which is 13:00 GMT, a lunchtime start for UK viewers. It begins in daylight and finishes under floodlights. As at 01/10/2026 the round is on the official calendar, and Formula 1 is expected to confirm by mid-October whether the season ends at Yas Marina as planned.
We do not quote prices here, so this is about how far one trip can go. Qatar and Abu Dhabi are a week apart, with a scheduled flight of a little over an hour between Doha and Abu Dhabi, so one long-haul journey can cover two grands prix. Austin and Mexico City are also a week apart. The Gulf pairing depends on both rounds going ahead.
As at 01/10/2026, Qatar on 29/11/2026 and Abu Dhabi on 06/12/2026 are still on the official calendar. Formula 1 missed its own mid-September target for a decision, and teams now expect an answer by mid-October. If the two rounds cannot run, Imola in Italy has been reported as the standby venue for a replacement finale. Until then, treat both dates as provisional.
