What is ABBA Voyage?

ABBA Voyage is a concert by digital avatars of the four members of ABBA, backed by a live ten-piece band, at ABBA Arena in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Stratford. It runs about 100 minutes with no interval, booking currently runs to 28 June 2027, and more than 4 million people have seen it since May 2022. Its hospitality formats host groups from 10 guests in a single Dance Booth to 120 in the Oceanbird Lounge.

The four members, Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, are not on stage. Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) created their digital versions, Baillie Walsh directed the show, Svana Gisla and Ludvig Andersson produced it, and Wayne McGregor choreographed it. The setlist was refreshed in May 2025 and now runs to 23 songs, with some alternating from night to night.

The show plays seven concerts a week, including weekend matinees. For ABBA's own story, see ABBA's chart history and honours.

Where is ABBA Voyage performed?

ABBA Voyage is performed at ABBA Arena, Pudding Mill Lane, London E15 2RU, a 3,000-capacity arena built for the show in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Stratford. Pudding Mill Lane DLR station sits next to the arena, one stop from Stratford. The arena is a temporary, purpose-built and demountable venue designed by Stufish Entertainment Architects and built by ES Global.

Inside is a hexagonal hall, column-free and about 70 metres across on its architects' figures, with tiers of mass-timber seating on a rake around the central Dance Floor and the eight Dance Booths beside it. The ABBA Arena travel, hotels and accessibility guide covers the building and the area in full, and the ABBA Voyage seating plan guide explains how Seated, Dance Floor and Dance Booth places are laid out.

About ABBA Voyage Hospitality

What hospitality options does ABBA Voyage have?

An ABBA Voyage Dance Booth takes 10 to 12 guests, and the arena has eight of them alongside the Dance Floor. The booths are one of four hospitality packages run by the show's operator at ABBA Arena: Dance Booths, Dance Booth hospitality, Tunnel Bar receptions and the Oceanbird Lounge. These formats sit alongside the two standard ticket types: Seated, a reserved seat in the auditorium where guests may stand and dance, and the Dance Floor, general-admission standing close to the stage and the live band.

Dance Booths

ABBA Voyage's eight Dance Booths sit alongside the Dance Floor, and each takes 10 to 12 guests. Every booth has a seating area, a private dance space and a dedicated bar, with staff serving the booth throughout the concert. Booth tickets come as a whole booth or as individual places, and the operator describes each booth as "semi-private". Alcohol at the booth bar is sold under Challenge 25, so anyone who looks under 25 may be asked for photo ID.

Dance Booth hospitality

Dance Booth hospitality adds a hosted reception to the booth. The evening starts in a dance booth bar about 1 hour 45 minutes before the concert. After about 45 minutes, guests are escorted to their booth, where light bites, platters and drinks are served until about 15 minutes before the end of the show, the drinks under Challenge 25. This route takes 10 to 24 guests across booths, with a dedicated staff member looking after the group.

Tunnel Bar receptions

A Tunnel Bar pre-concert reception holds up to 80 guests. The group has the bar to itself for the first 45 minutes, after which it opens to other concert-goers, and like every bar in the arena it serves alcohol under Challenge 25. The reception pairs with any ticket type. Food is an add-on rather than part of the reception. Larger booth groups use the Tunnel Bar and Dance Booths route instead: 10 to 44 guests start in a tunnel bar and then move to Dance Booths for the show.

The Oceanbird Lounge

The Oceanbird Lounge is a pre-concert upgrade on the arena's main concourse, not a seat, and it needs a ticket for the same performance. It opens about 1 hour 45 minutes before the concert and is closed during the show. Guests get fast-track entry into the arena and unlimited drinks, served under Challenge 25, and the food varies by performance. Drinks from the lounge can go into the auditorium in the arena's own containers. For company groups, the lounge holds up to 120 guests, a roped-off area can be set aside for groups of up to 50, and whole-lounge hire is one of the operator's options.

Which option suits a group of 10, 20, 50 or more?

At ABBA Voyage, parties of 15 or more are handled as group bookings, a single order stops at 14 Seated or Dance Floor places, and booth groups can span several booths up to 44 guests. Beyond 44, the Tunnel Bar and the Oceanbird Lounge take the largest company groups.

  • 10 to 12 guests: one Dance Booth, with its own seating area and bar.
  • Up to 24 guests: Dance Booth hospitality across booths, with a reception first and a staff member for the group.
  • Up to 44 guests: the Tunnel Bar and Dance Booths route.
  • Up to 50 guests: a roped-off area of the Oceanbird Lounge.
  • Up to 80 guests: a Tunnel Bar pre-concert reception, paired with any ticket type.
  • Up to 120 guests: the Oceanbird Lounge for company groups.

Booths suit client entertaining and milestone birthdays, where a group wants its own space and bar for the whole concert, with alcohol served under Challenge 25. The Tunnel Bar and the Oceanbird Lounge suit team nights and Christmas parties that need one gathering point before guests take their seats or head for the Dance Floor. Dance Floor places are unallocated, and Dance Floor and seated guests cannot swap areas, so a mixed group is simpler on one ticket type.

How does a hospitality evening at ABBA Voyage run?

A hospitality evening at ABBA Voyage starts about 1 hour 45 minutes before the concert, when the doors, the Oceanbird Lounge and the booth and Tunnel Bar receptions open. The concert itself runs about 100 minutes with no interval. The operator can move a start time on at least 48 hours' notice, and the show can start late, so build slack into any transport booked for the ride home.

  1. The box office is in the ABBA Voyage shop at Pudding Mill Lane station and opens 2 hours before the concert, so it is the place to go if a ticket gives trouble on arrival.
  2. Receptions come first: booth hospitality guests move to their booth after about 45 minutes, and a Tunnel Bar group has the bar to itself for its first 45 minutes.
  3. The Oceanbird Lounge is closed during the show. Guests who arrive after the start wait for a suitable point before going in, so the whole group should be through the doors in good time; there is no re-admittance after presenting a ticket.
  4. Booth food and drinks service continues until about 15 minutes before the end, with alcohol served under Challenge 25.
  5. After the show, the concourse bars stay open, so the group can gather for a drink before heading home; Challenge 25 applies there too.

What is not included, and what should the booker know?

ABBA Voyage hospitality runs on the operator's terms, and the person who books accepts those terms on behalf of the whole party. The Oceanbird Lounge does not include a seat, food at a Tunnel Bar reception is an add-on, and tickets are digital and non-refundable except where the operator's cancellation terms say otherwise. These are the points a group organiser should pass on to guests:

  • Tickets bought from resale sites can be refused at the door, and tickets advertised for resale can be voided.
  • If a show is rescheduled, tickets move to the new date. If a show is cancelled or abandoned before half of it has run, the operator refunds face value less some booking fees.
  • The arena is cashless, alcohol cannot be taken off the site, and outside food and drink are not allowed except for medical or religious reasons.
  • Challenge 25 applies to alcohol sales, so anyone who looks under 25 may be asked for photo ID.
  • The cloakroom takes small bags, and its space gives priority to Dance Floor ticket holders.
  • The operator asks guests not to wear Afro wigs or anything that lights up.
  • Photos are allowed outside and on the concourse, but not of the concert itself.

When does ABBA Voyage end?

Booking for ABBA Voyage currently runs to 28 June 2027. The production announced that extension on 24 September 2026, when 170,000 new tickets were released, and no decision on the arena's future beyond that date has been published. New performance dates are released on a rolling monthly basis. ABBA Arena itself is a temporary, purpose-built arena.

The run has been extended in steps since it opened. Earlier booking horizons included, most recent first:

  • Into 2026
  • Into 2025
  • November 2024
  • May 2024
  • January 2024
  • May 2023, a move made during opening weekend in 2022

The show reaches its fifth anniversary in May 2027. Its milestones so far, most recent first: the setlist was refreshed in May 2025 with "Super Trouper", "The Name of the Game", "Money, Money, Money" and "Take a Chance on Me" added; the show won Outstanding Visual Effects in a Special Venue Project at the 21st VES Awards on 15 February 2023; and it officially opened on Friday 27 May 2022, the day after a premiere on 26 May 2022.

How do groups get to ABBA Arena and home again?

Groups reach ABBA Arena by DLR, coach or taxi. Pudding Mill Lane DLR station is next to the arena and one stop from Stratford on the DLR. A group coach may drop off and pick up on Barbers Road or Pudding Mill Lane, but it is not allowed to wait there, so book the return pick-up for a set time. There is no general on-site parking; the 10 Blue Badge spaces on the arena site must be booked in advance.

  • Black cabs: the taxi rank is on Barbers Road, beside the arena.
  • Private hire: cars use Pudding Mill Lane for drop-off and pick-up.
  • Late trains: on TfL's standard timetable, the DLR serves Pudding Mill Lane past midnight Monday to Saturday and until about 11.52pm on Sundays. Engineering works can change that, so check TfL on the day.
  • DLR disruption: the 25, 276, 425 and D8 buses on Stratford High Street are the fallback.

Is ABBA Voyage accessible?

Yes. ABBA Arena is step-free throughout, and access places (wheelchair spaces, ambulant seats and transfer seats) must be reserved in advance; a guest with access documentation gets a companion ticket free of charge. For guests with hearing loss, a closed-loop hearing system covers most of the auditorium, with neck loops for other areas. On selected dates the show is BSL-interpreted, and Booth A is kept for those tickets because it has the best view of the interpreter. Pudding Mill Lane station has lift access from street to platform, and the ABBA Arena accessibility section has the detail.

Frequently Asked Questions About ABBA Voyage Hospitality

It depends on the format. On the Dance Booth hospitality route the party starts with a reception, then has light bites, platters and drinks brought to its booth until about 15 minutes before the end, with one staff member assigned to the group. The Oceanbird Lounge covers the time before the concert instead: fast-track entry, unlimited drinks and food that changes from one performance to the next, but no seat. Challenge 25 applies to every alcohol sale.

Hospitality follows the show's own calendar. The operator adds performance dates on a rolling monthly basis, and since the extension announced on 24 September 2026, booking currently runs to 28 June 2027.

No. Dance Floor places at ABBA Voyage are unallocated, with no marked spots in the standing area by the stage, and Dance Floor guests cannot move into the seats during the show, nor seated guests onto the floor. The production recommends the Dance Floor for ages 12 and over. Groups that want their own seating area and bar look at the Dance Booths, each for 10 to 12 guests, where alcohol is served under Challenge 25.

No. Every lounge guest still watches from the place on their own ticket, which must be for the same performance. The lounge is where the group gathers beforehand, and it is closed while the concert runs; lounge drinks can be carried into the auditorium only in the arena's own containers, with Challenge 25 applying to alcohol.

Yes, within limits: nobody under 3 is admitted, the production recommends the show for over 6s, and each under 16 needs an adult aged 18 or over with them. Anyone who looks under 18 must show photo ID with a date of birth if asked. Extensive flashing lights, lasers and haze run through the concert. The ABBA Voyage seating plan guide covers which part of the arena suits a younger guest.
