Rod Stewart's The Final Encore tour comes to Belfast, Glasgow, Birmingham and Manchester between Tuesday 27 April and Thursday 6 May 2027, with Howard Jones as special guest. Each arena on Rod Stewart's The Final Encore tour sells its own premium product for the show, and no two cities match. Belfast sells private and shared suites, Glasgow two premium seating areas, Birmingham four Premium tiers and Manchester a pre-show club.
- Belfast, Tuesday 27 April: the Belfast arena, formerly The SSE Arena until its July 2026 rename, hires out whole VIP boxes to parties of 12 or 16 guests, each with a private balcony, a VIP entrance, dedicated waiter service and a food and drinks menu, and the party keeps the box for up to an hour after the show. Guests can also book Shared Suites, taking their own seats in a VIP space shared with others.
- Glasgow, Thursday 29 April: OVO Hydro, the arena whose first concert Rod headlined in 2013, offers two options. The Terrace gives guests raised reserved seats at the front of Level 2, in-seat food and drinks service and a welcome drink on arrival; The Nest pairs private reserved seats with premium stage views with the Capital Starsuite and Clubhouse lounges before and after the show. Both come with fast-track entry, and the venue warns that stairs lead to both. Rod Stewart at OVO Hydro on 29 April sets out the Glasgow night.
- Birmingham, Tuesday 4 May: every Premium tier at Utilita Arena Birmingham includes priority entry and a premium category seat. Premium Lounge Access adds a private bar and lounge. Premium Lounge & Drink adds the private bar and lounge, a welcome drink, parking and an exclusive food menu to buy from. Premium Dine & Drink adds the private bar and lounge, a dish from the premium dining menu, one drink and parking. Premium All-Inclusive adds an all-inclusive dining experience in the flagship lounge, an unlimited drinks selection with the meal and throughout the show, and parking.
- Manchester, Thursday 6 May: Co-op Live, the UK's largest indoor arena by capacity, sells the Co-op Backstage Club, with private entry up to an hour before General Admission doors, arcade games, pool and a photobooth, a merch store, a dedicated cloakroom and toilets, and live DJs. Detroit-style pizza, sides and themed cocktails are there to buy. The club does not include early access to the main floor.
Alcohol in any of these suites, lounges and bars is served to over-18s only, and ID may be requested.
What are the age rules at each Rod Stewart show in 2027?
Age rules for Rod Stewart's 2027 UK nights are set by each venue, and Glasgow's is the strictest: OVO Hydro admits over-8s only, and under-16s must be with an adult aged 18 or over. Belfast, Birmingham and Manchester admit younger children with an adult, but Birmingham and Manchester also bar younger fans from their standing areas.

In his own words, yes. Rod Stewart's written statement for the announcement on Monday 28 September 2026 says: "After more than six decades, The Final Encore will most definitely be my last." Announcing it, he also drew a line between touring and retiring: "I'm not retiring, but this will be the last rock 'n' roll tour."
That wording is firmer than before. His previous tour was billed "One Last Time", and in late 2024 he said: "This will be the end of large-scale world tours for me, but I have no desire to retire." On the day of the announcement, Rolling Stone UK reported that "one-off shows still remain a possibility".
Which Rod Stewart hospitality options suit guests with limited mobility?
For guests with limited mobility at Rod Stewart's 2027 UK nights, Glasgow needs the most care, because OVO Hydro warns that stairs lead to both The Terrace and The Nest. Each arena sets its own access arrangements, including Changing Places provision, listed city by city below.
- Belfast: the venue offers Essential Companion tickets free or at reduced cost (it says this depends on availability), with evidence of entitlement needed within 72 hours of purchase. Its Changing Places facility is at Door 15 (first-floor concourse), and the bowl has an FM hearing loop, with neck loops available on request.
- Glasgow: every accessible ticket at OVO Hydro comes with a free carer or companion ticket, and Changing Places facilities are on Level 2 inside the arena and at the SEC Centre east entrance on the same campus.

Howard Jones is the special guest on the UK and Ireland dates of The Final Encore, including Belfast, Glasgow, Birmingham and Manchester. His UK hits run from "New Song", a No. 3 in 1983, through "What Is Love?", his best singles placing at No. 2, to "Things Can Only Get Better" at No. 6 in 1985.
