NFL International Games 2026: Europe Travel and Hospitality Guide

Six NFL regular-season games are played in Europe between 4 October and 15 November 2026, in four cities: London three times, then Paris, Madrid and Munich. They are part of nine international games worldwide, spanning four continents, seven countries and eight stadiums, which the NFL confirmed in its schedule announcement on 13 May 2026. Three of those nine cities are hosting for the first time, Paris among them. For a UK company, that is four European fixtures inside six weeks, three of which need no flight at all.

Every kick-off time below is given in both local and UK time, because they diverge in a way that catches people out on 25 October.

Which games are reachable on a single night away?

Paris, comfortably, and nothing else overseas. A 25 October fixture at Stade de France works as a Saturday out and Sunday back, or even a same-day return for a small group with a strong constitution. Madrid on 8 November and Munich on 15 November both kick off at 3:30pm CET, which puts the final whistle around 6:30pm local and the airport somewhere near nine. Those two are weekends. The three London games are day trips.

The Paris weekend has a trap in it

UK and EU clocks go back on the morning of Sunday 25 October 2026, the same morning as the Paris fixture. The kick-off is 2:30pm CET, which is 1:30pm UK time, an hour earlier in UK terms than the London games a week either side. Anyone booking a Sunday morning outbound is compressing their margin by an hour without noticing, and anyone assuming a 2:30 kick-off across the whole European run will be wrong exactly once.

How far ahead to plan each city

London needs the least lead time in travel terms and the most in diary terms: no flights to book, but three consecutive Sundays competing with everything else in October. Paris needs rail or flights booked around a clock change. Madrid and Munich each need a weekend blocked out, with a Sunday afternoon kick-off that pushes the journey home into Sunday evening or Monday morning.

The broader point across all four cities is that the fixture list has been public since 13 May 2026. Anything still undecided in September is a decision that was available in May.

What a Sunday afternoon kick-off does to the day

Every European fixture in 2026 is on a Sunday, and every one of them starts in the afternoon rather than the evening. That is the single most useful scheduling fact in this list. Nobody spends a day of annual leave, an invitation reads as a gift rather than an obligation, and a group has daylight either side of the game rather than a dash from the office.

The three London games finish in the early evening, which is late enough to feel like a full day and early enough for guests to get back to Manchester, Bristol or Glasgow the same night. The two November fixtures start an hour later in local terms, so Madrid and Munich end close to their own cities’ dinner hour, which is why both work better as a weekend than a day.
