NFL London Games
ExploreLast updated: 30 July 2026
If you are taking a client group to one NFL game in London this year, the two fixtures at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium are where the decision sits, and 11 October is the safer pick of the two. London hosts three games on consecutive Sundays in 2026, on 4, 11 and 18 October, all at 2:30pm BST, and every listings page treats them as one product. They are not one product. Two share a venue and the third does not, and the Jacksonville Jaguars are the designated home team for two of them in successive weeks. The fixtures come from the NFL's schedule announcement of 13 May 2026.
The London fixtures side by side
| Date | Fixture | Home team | Venue | Kick-off |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sun 4 Oct 2026 | Indianapolis Colts v Washington Commanders | Washington Commanders | Tottenham Hotspur Stadium | 2:30pm BST |
| Sun 11 Oct 2026 | Philadelphia Eagles v Jacksonville Jaguars | Jacksonville Jaguars | Tottenham Hotspur Stadium | 2:30pm BST |
| Sun 18 Oct 2026 | Houston Texans v Jacksonville Jaguars | Jacksonville Jaguars | Another London venue | 2:30pm BST |
Game one, 4 October: the one that opens the run
Indianapolis Colts against Washington Commanders at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with the Commanders as designated home team. Being first has a practical advantage that has nothing to do with the football: it is the least contested Sunday of the three, before half a city’s October diary fills up, and it leaves the later fixtures as a fallback if the date collapses. It is the right pick for a group that needs certainty more than spectacle. Detail is on our Colts against Commanders page.
Game two, 11 October: the balanced choice
Philadelphia Eagles against Jacksonville Jaguars at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Jaguars at home. This is the middle Sunday and the second of the two fixtures at the same venue, so a group going to both keeps one travel plan and one set of directions. It is also the first of the Jaguars’ two home games in London, which gives the day a thread the opening fixture does not have. Detail is on our Eagles against Jaguars page.
The fact none of the listings mention
The Jacksonville Jaguars are the designated home team for two of the three London fixtures, on 11 and 18 October, in successive weeks. No other franchise holds two international home games in 2026. It comes from the NFL's schedule announcement of 13 May 2026. For a group choosing between fixtures it matters practically as well as as a talking point: the two Jaguars games carry the same home identity, so attending both feels like a short series rather than two unrelated afternoons. More on the club is on our Jacksonville Jaguars page.
How to actually decide
If the group is mostly new to the sport
Take 11 October. A home designation gives the day a side to follow, which is most of what a first-time watcher needs, and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has a retractable pitch built for American football, so the day runs without the improvisation a converted ground needs.
If the diary is the problem
Take 4 October. It is the earliest of the three and the easiest to get accepted, and if something slips there are still two fixtures left in the same month.
If the group is travelling into London
Take either of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium fixtures, on 4 or 11 October. Both use the same stations and the same walk, so a group coming in from outside London plans the journey once. The 18 October game is at a different venue in the capital and needs its own plan.
Practical points that apply to both
Every kick-off is 2:30pm BST, so this is an afternoon rather than an evening, and every fixture is a Sunday, so nobody spends annual leave. The route into Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is rail rather than road, and the station detail sits on our Tottenham Hotspur Stadium page.
If the decision is really between cities rather than fixtures, the whole European slate is compared in our NFL international games 2026 Europe travel and hospitality guide, and all three London fixtures sit together on our NFL London Games page.

Frequently Asked Questions
It depends on what the day is for. 11 October is the balanced pick, at the same venue as the opening fixture and with the Jaguars carrying the home designation. 4 October is the easiest to get into diaries because it is first. There is no fixture among the three that is a poor choice.
Two of them are. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium hosts 4 October and 11 October. The 18 October fixture is at a different London venue, so a group attending more than one should not reuse the same travel plan.
The NFL designated them the home team for both the 11 October and the 18 October fixtures, giving one club two home games in London in successive weeks. It is unique to them among the 2026 international games, and it comes from the NFL's schedule announcement of 13 May 2026.
Later than most people assume for the game itself and earlier than they assume for everything around it. The fixtures have been public since 13 May 2026, and the constraint that bites first for a corporate group is usually the diary rather than the fixture.
Good, on balance. A 2:30pm start means the day sits entirely outside working hours, so an invitation reads as a gift rather than an obligation, and the early-evening finish leaves guests from outside London able to travel home the same night.
One week each. The games fall on consecutive Sundays, 4, 11 and 18 October 2026, so the whole London run spans fifteen days. A group attending two of them is committing to two Sundays a week apart rather than two separate trips months apart.
