Teddy Swims predicted set list and tour history

Teddy Swims plays nine UK arena nights in April 2027, and the set list below is a prediction rather than an official running order. It is built from his two most recently documented headline shows and from the fan-logged aggregate for his 2026 Summer Tour, which counted 26 set lists on 7 September 2026. "The Door" opened 25 of them and "Lose Control" closed 25 of them. Neither of the two documented shows carries an encore, on our own read of those two set lists.

Hold on to that absent encore, because it changes how the night ends. The show finishes when the last song finishes, so a guest planning a train, a taxi or a table afterwards can work to a real finish instead of waiting through a house-lights pause that never comes.

One qualification on that basis. The arena run of The Ugly Tour opens in September 2026, so the April 2027 UK dates sit in the back half of a tour already in progress by the time you read this. Every song below comes from shows played before that run started, and the running order will be rebuilt here once enough Ugly Tour set lists are logged.

What will Teddy Swims play on the 2027 UK dates?

On current form Teddy Swims opens with "The Door", works through most of both "I've Tried Everything But Therapy" records, plays three covers in a run near the end, and finishes on "Lose Control". That opening and closing shape held across the 26 counted set lists of his 2026 Summer Tour, and neither of the two documented shows carries an encore after it. It is a prediction taken from those shows, not a running order supplied by the artist or the promoter.

Which song opens the show, and which one closes it?

"The Door" opened 25 of the 26 counted shows on the 2026 Summer Tour, and "Lose Control" closed 25 of the 26, with "Guilty" closing the one that it did not. Both sit in the fan-logged set list record rather than in anything announced, so treat them as the pattern he has been playing, not a promise about Birmingham or Glasgow.

The predicted set list for April 2027, in running order

The table follows the 23 named songs logged at Scarborough Open Air Theatre on 23 July 2026, which is the longer of the two headline set lists documented here. The second column says what each position rests on. Where a song appeared at Scarborough but not at Naval Station Norfolk on 29 August 2026, the column says so.

The difference between the two lists is the clearest guide to what moves. Norfolk ran the same fifteen songs in the same order, then went straight from "Some Things I'll Never Know" into the cover run and finished on "Lose Control". Scarborough added "Break Up in Reverse" before the covers and "Guilty" before the closer. So the front third of the show has been stable for months, and the two places where songs get added are the slot just before the covers and the slot just before the closer.

Will there be an encore?

Neither of the two documented 2026 shows carries an encore, and that is our own read of those two set lists rather than a tour-wide count. On that form a UK arena crowd in April 2027 should not plan around an encore break. Norfolk is the one headline show on that tour with a logged clock: on stage at 20:30, off at 22:00, so about 90 minutes and 21 named songs. That 90 minutes is one show's clock, not a tour-wide length, because festival slots on the same tour ran shorter.

Birmingham is the only UK night with a published stage time. Utilita Arena Birmingham publishes doors at 18:30 and the show starting at 19:30 for both of its nights. If the Norfolk shape holds, that points to a finish somewhere around 21:00 to 21:15. That is our inference from a 90-minute show starting at 19:30, and the venue has confirmed no finish time. Glasgow publishes its doors time and says in its own words that show times will be updated when the promoter confirms them, which is the plainest evidence that start times are set show by show rather than tour-wide.

What could still change before April

Three things, in the order they matter. First, the arena run opens in September 2026, and a purpose-built arena production is the most common place an opener or an encore policy changes. Second, a new record. No album title and no release date appears in anything this piece was checked against, and a stage remark at Powderham Castle in June 2026 that a reviewer read as a hint towards 2027 is the whole of the story there. If a record does land, the middle of the set is where new songs go, on the evidence of "Break Up in Reverse" moving from an unreleased song he introduced in June 2026 to a place in the Scarborough set in late July. Third, the covers. Three of them are currently fixtures, and a fourth would sit in the same run.

What are Teddy Swims' biggest songs in the UK?

Teddy Swims has three UK top ten singles and no UK number one. "Lose Control" reached number 2, "The Door" 5 and "Bad Dreams" 6 on the Official Singles Chart. His highest UK album peak is also 2. He is a GRAMMY nominee twice over with no win.

How high did "Lose Control" actually get?

Number 2. It first entered the Official Singles Chart on 16 November 2023, and 2 is as high as it ever went. Official Charts later confirmed it as the fourth biggest single of 2024 in the UK and the most-downloaded track of that year, which is the more telling number of the two. Plenty of songs reach the top five. Very few finish a calendar year fourth. On the singles chart he is a top-five artist in the UK rather than a chart-topper.

The three UK top ten singles

"Lose Control" at 2, "The Door" at 5 and "Bad Dreams" at 6. Below the top ten, "Gone Gone Gone" peaked at 47 and "Mr. Know It All" at 54. The gap between the top three and the next two is wide: a few enormous songs, not a long run of mid-table hits.

The albums

Three charting entries. "I've Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1)" first charted on 18 January 2024, peaked at 12 and has spent 77 weeks on the album chart. "(Part 2)" first charted on 6 February 2025, peaked at 2 and has spent 17 weeks. The combined edition first charted on 10 July 2025, peaked at 13 and has spent 62 weeks. Both parts are heavily represented in the live set, which is why the running order above is so album-led and so light on anything older.

Where has Teddy Swims played in the UK before?

Teddy Swims has played the UK every year since 2022, and the rooms have grown one full step per cycle: clubs and student unions in 2023, academies and theatres in 2024, arenas from March 2025, and an outdoor summer in 2026. April 2027 is his second UK arena run. The room history below comes from the public fan-logged set list record, not from venue or promoter announcements, so treat it as reported rather than confirmed. One festival billing is confirmed by the festival's own line-up page: at the Isle of Wight Festival he played the Saturday Main Stage in second position, directly below the headliner.

Clubs and student unions, 2023

The earliest UK date on the public set list record is February 2022 in Glasgow, and that is a floor rather than a first: a fan-logged archive shows what somebody logged, never everything that was played.

Then a short July 2023 run through rooms of a few hundred to a couple of thousand: Leeds University Union, NX Newcastle, Albert Hall in Manchester, an academy in Liverpool, the Great Hall at Cardiff University Students' Union and Rock City in Nottingham. He also played TRNSMT at Glasgow Green on 8 July 2023 and Latitude at Henham Park on 22 July 2023. No source states his billing position at either festival, so none is claimed here.

Academies and theatres, 2024

The May and June 2024 run was the step up to academy and theatre rooms. He played multiple nights in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and Dublin inside three weeks, taking in Eventim Olympia in Liverpool, 3Olympia Theatre in Dublin and O2 Apollo Manchester among others. In August 2024 he played Reading Festival on the BBC Radio 1 Stage and gave a surprise acoustic performance at Reading train station before his set. His arena appearances that year were all multi-artist or awards bills, not his own headline shows.

The first UK arena run, March 2025

His first UK headline arena shows came in March 2025, on the I've Tried Everything But Therapy tour. The run was announced in September 2024 with five UK and Ireland dates: Birmingham, London, Glasgow, Manchester and Dublin. It grew. The fan-logged record shows it played as seven UK nights across four UK cities plus two in Dublin, with second nights added in Birmingham, London and Manchester and a single night in Glasgow.

The outdoor summer of 2026

2026 was an outdoor year, not an arena one. He played Blackweir Fields in Cardiff, Bellahouston Park in Glasgow, Blenheim Palace, Lytham Festival, Powderham Castle near Exeter, Latitude Festival, and two nights at Scarborough Open Air Theatre, where a show that drew roughly 8,000 people led to a second night being added. Those Scarborough nights are the source of the longer of the two set lists in the table above, so this is the summer the April 2027 prediction actually rests on.

Which songs does he cover live?

Three, and they are fixtures, not surprises. "Somethin' 'Bout a Woman" by Thomas Rhett, "Jump" by Van Halen and "All That Really Matters" by ILLENIUM appeared at consecutive positions in both documented set lists, and the tour aggregate labels all three as covers at three consecutive positions. Expect that run to sit in the last quarter of the show, between "Mr. Know It All" and the closing pair.

The stage is deliberately plain, and the show runs on a live band rather than backing tracks, with the band and the backing singers introduced from the stage. The Scarborough review describes bold lighting, a raised central platform with a sofa his band occupy, a gold-plated microphone and a mic stand covered in graffiti, with him in baggy blue trousers, a t-shirt and a cap. He takes items passed up from the audience and signs them mid-song, which is why the front of the floor matters more to this crowd than it would at an orchestral show. He talks plainly between songs too. At Scarborough he spoke during "Simple Things" about a friend who had recently died and asked the crowd to check on the people they love, and at Powderham he addressed male suicide from the stage.

Has a support act been announced for the UK dates?

What is confirmed is the headline show: nine UK nights, doors and stage times published in Birmingham, and a set list shape with three months of documented shows behind it. No support act has been announced for any of the UK dates as at 7 September 2026. That absence was checked on at least six surfaces, including the Birmingham and Glasgow venues' own event pages, Teddy Swims' own site and the two articles that announced the tour. The Birmingham venue's page reads "Support Acts: None listed". Names attached to his earlier runs do not carry over to April 2027.

When and where are the 2027 UK dates?

Nine nights across four UK cities between 4 and 24 April 2027: two in Birmingham, one in Glasgow, three in Manchester and three in London. General sale ran on 31 July 2026.
