About
Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset, hosts Glastonbury Festival 2027 from Wednesday 23 June to Sunday 27 June 2027. Emily Eavis told the BBC in August 2026 that all three Pyramid Stage headliners are signed. Not one has been named.
Three names keep coming up. Taylor Swift. Harry Styles. Eminem.
Here is the twist: not one of them has ever played a Glastonbury set. One was announced and then lost to a pandemic. One has been wanted for years, according to The Sun, but the dates never worked. One has been linked to the Pyramid Stage twice, and twice it came to nothing.
So which of them, if any, finally makes it to Worthy Farm? Here is every clue so far.
Glastonbury 2027: what is actually confirmed
- Dates: Wednesday 23 June to Sunday 27 June 2027, after the planned fallow year in 2026.
- Headline nights on the Pyramid Stage: Friday 25, Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 June.
- Three headliners signed. Emily Eavis on the BBC: "We have got three headliners and we're very excited about it."
- Madonna is out: "No, it's definitely not Madonna, I'll tell you that."
- Oasis are out. A fan asked on Instagram; Eavis replied "sorry Jimmy, not this time!"
- No act announced, as of early October 2026.
And a warning from the woman who knows the answer: "rumours are pretty much always wrong."
Taylor Swift at Glastonbury 2027: unfinished business
Taylor Swift has already been a Glastonbury headliner once, on paper. In December 2019 she was announced for the Sunday night of Glastonbury 2020, the festival's 50th anniversary year. Then Covid cancelled the festival, and she never got to play it.
Six years on, the story has come back. In May 2026 the Daily Mail reported that she was "almost nailed on" for the Pyramid Stage in 2027, quoting sources who said "it's all going ahead positively".
Then came the moment that sent fans into overdrive. When BBC Radio 4 put Swift's name to Emily Eavis in August, Eavis laughed and would not discuss the line-up any further. No denial. Compare that with Madonna, ruled out in the same interview in a single sentence.
The verdict: the biggest story of the three, resting on one newspaper's sources and a laugh.
Harry Styles at Glastonbury 2027: the gap in the diary
Harry Styles has never performed at Glastonbury. In 2024 an insider told The Sun that Eavis had wanted him for a while, "but the dates have never quite worked out."
In 2027, the dates might. His Together, Together tour dates for 2027 are out, but look closely at late June. Music Week did, on 10 September 2026: "there are no dates across Glastonbury weekend, where he is rumoured to be a potential performer."
The betting followed. In July 2026 he shared top spot in a bookmaker's market for the Pyramid Stage headline slots, level with Sam Fender.
The verdict: more circumstantial evidence than any other name. A clear diary is not a signed contract, but it is the kind of gap people notice.
Eminem at Glastonbury 2027: the one they keep chasing
Twice the tabloids have put Eminem on the Pyramid Stage, and twice he never arrived. In October 2022 The Sun's Bizarre column claimed he was in talks for 2023. In June 2024 it tipped him again, for 2025, and claimed Emily Eavis had tried several times to land him without success. He played neither festival.
What has changed since is that he is back on big stages, usually as a surprise. Jay-Z walked him on at Yankee Stadium in New York on 11 July 2026. The pair did "Renegade" live together for the first time since 2010, then Eminem stayed out for "Lose Yourself". That same month, a bookmaker's market on the 2027 Pyramid Stage headliners had him among its leading names.
The verdict: the outsider of the three. Beyond the betting, nothing in print ties him to 2027: no newspaper report, no insider. Still, if Worthy Farm has finally signed him, it would close a tabloid chase that goes back to at least 2022.
Who else could headline Glastonbury 2027?
Sam Fender shared favourite status with Harry Styles in July 2026. Beyond those two, the names in bookmakers' markets and press speculation through 2026 include Rihanna, Beyoncé, Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, Little Simz, RAYE, Ed Sheeran, Arctic Monkeys, Radiohead, Fontaines D.C. and the Rolling Stones.

Could one of them turn up as a surprise?
At Glastonbury, not being on the poster does not mean not playing. Foo Fighters played the Pyramid Stage in 2023 billed as "The Churnups". Pulp did the same in 2025 as "Patchwork". In 2022, Paul McCartney walked Dave Grohl and Bruce Springsteen on during his headline set.
Eminem's biggest recent moment was exactly that kind of appearance: a guest walking out during someone else's headline show. Nobody outside Worthy Farm knows whether 2027 holds one. Glastonbury has a habit of saving its biggest names for the moments nobody saw coming.
When will the Glastonbury 2027 line-up be announced?
No announcement date has been set. Until there is one, treat every name on this page as a rumour. The only names anyone can be sure of are the ones Emily Eavis has ruled out.
