A lift to street level and a covered walkway lead from the station to the campus. From Queen Street, walk or take a bus to Central for the train.

• Taxis: Glasgow Taxis has a pick-up and drop-off point outside the SEC Armadillo, on the same campus, and there are ranks at Glasgow Central, Queen Street and Buchanan Bus Station.
• On foot: the Clyde Walkway runs right past the SEC.
• By car: the multi-storey car park is at 10 Stobcross Road, G3 8GS, run by Glasgow City Council. Glasgow city centre has had a Low Emission Zone since 1 June 2023, so check your vehicle meets it before driving in.
• Drop-off: a staffed drop-off and pick-up point sits on the west side of the SEC Centre, off Stobcross Road, about three minutes' covered walk from the Hydro.

What bag can I take into OVO Hydro?

Small bags are fine at OVO Hydro, but large handbags of A3 size (30 x 42 cm) or bigger are not allowed, and nor are backpacks or rucksacks. Every bag is searched on the way in, and the venue suggests allowing an extra hour for security. Anything too big can be left at the paid cloakroom in the SEC Centre, on the same campus, before you walk over to the arena.

Blue Badge bays are on levels 0 to 4 of the Stobcross Road car park, and an accessible shuttle runs from the SEC Centre drop-off to within 130 metres of the Hydro's south main entrance.
