Who is Hayley Williams?

Hayley Williams is a singer and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist of Paramore, and a solo artist with three albums. The most recent, Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party, came out in 2025 on Post Atlantic, her own independent label. Her solo show, The Hayley Williams Show, plays four UK nights in June and July 2027.

The 2027 UK dates are her solo show, not a Paramore tour, and were announced as a set drawn from all three of her solo albums. The show opened on 3 September 2026 at the iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Florida. Paramore formed in Franklin, Tennessee, in 2004. Since 2017 the band have been a three-piece of Hayley Williams, Taylor York and Zac Farro, and she is the only member who appears on all six of their studio albums.

Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party, released on 28 August 2025 on Post Atlantic, is Hayley Williams' latest album. It reached No. 10 on the UK Albums Chart and No. 1 on the Official Independent, Scottish and Physical Albums Charts. Dork named it its album of the year for 2025, and it placed No. 4 on Kerrang!'s and Clash's year-end lists and No. 9 on Rolling Stone's and NME's.

The album arrived in an unusual order. During 2025 its songs appeared first on her website, then on streaming services as individual singles, and only after that as a sequenced album. NME gave the 2025 release five stars before that album came out. Her Atlantic Records contract has ended, as a solo artist and with Paramore. Post Atlantic is distributed by Secretly Distribution, and when that deal was announced on 9 September 2025, she said: "What a luxury to be able to sort of start my career over in this way, with more connectedness amongst the team. And ownership for the first time ever."

In 2026 she also released two EPs as Power Snatch, a side project with the producer Daniel James that sits outside her solo albums: EP1 in February and EP2 in August.

What are Hayley Williams' solo albums?

Hayley Williams has released three solo albums: Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party on 28 August 2025, Flowers for Vases / Descansos on 5 February 2021 and Petals for Armor on 8 May 2020. The latest came out on Post Atlantic and the earlier two on Atlantic Records. Petals for Armor is her highest-charting solo album in the UK, with a peak of No. 4.

• Flowers for Vases / Descansos (2021) was a surprise release, announced the night before it came out, and reached No. 92 on the UK Albums Chart.
• Petals for Armor (2020) went to No. 1 on the Official Scottish, Physical and Vinyl Albums Charts, and in the same year her single "Simmer" topped the Official Physical Singles Chart. Her 2020 tour for the album was postponed in April 2020 and cancelled later that year because of the pandemic.

"Airplanes", B.o.B's single featuring Hayley Williams, went to No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart in 2010, and "Stay the Night", Zedd's single featuring her, reached No. 2 in 2014. As at 28 September 2026, the BPI has certified "Airplanes" 3x Platinum and "Stay the Night" Platinum. She also sings on "Castles Crumbling", a 2023 track from Taylor Swift's Speak Now (Taylor's Version).

How many Grammys has Hayley Williams won?

Hayley Williams has won three Grammy Awards, none of them for her solo records. Two came with Paramore at the 2024 ceremony: Best Alternative Music Performance for the song "This Is Why", and Best Rock Album for This Is Why, which made Paramore the first band fronted by a woman to win that award. The third, Best Rock Song in 2015 for Paramore's "Ain't It Fun", is a songwriting award she shares with Taylor York.

Her solo work earned its first Grammy nominations at the 68th Grammy Awards, held on 1 February 2026. There were four: Best Alternative Music Album for Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party, Best Alternative Music Performance for "Parachute", Best Rock Performance for "Mirtazapine" and Best Rock Song for "Glum", written with Daniel James. The awards went elsewhere: The Cure took both alternative categories, Nine Inch Nails won Best Rock Song, and Best Rock Performance went to a live recording of "Changes" credited to Yungblud, Nuno Bettencourt and Frank Bello featuring Adam Wakeman and II.

As of September 2026 the Recording Academy lists 11 Grammy nominations for her in all, across Paramore, featured, songwriting and solo credits, and it credits Paramore as a band with two wins from five nominations.

What other honours has Hayley Williams received?

Hayley Williams won Best Vocalist at the 2015 Alternative Press Music Awards, and Kerrang! named her its Tweeter of the Year in 2015, as it had in 2012. In 2014 Billboard named her the first recipient of its Trailblazer Award, and it has ranked her No. 13 on its list of the greatest rock singers of all time.

Is Paramore still together?

Paramore are still together, and in September 2025 Hayley Williams described the band as on a break. Speaking to The Face that month, she said: "We always take huge breaks." The band have been independent since 2024, when their contract with Atlantic Records ended.

In 2024 the band supported Taylor Swift on the European leg of the Eras Tour, which ran from May to August. Their sixth studio album, This Is Why (2023), went to No. 1 in the UK, the band's third No. 1 album after Brand New Eyes and the self-titled Paramore (2013).

Where has Hayley Williams played in the UK?

Hayley Williams' 2026 solo tour included two nights each in London, Manchester and Glasgow in June, near the end of a run from late March to 30 June 2026 that finished with two nights in Dublin. The second night in each city was an added date, which NME put down to "overwhelming demand".

With Paramore she has already played two of her 2027 UK venues. The band have played the Cardiff arena that is now Utilita Arena Cardiff four times, most recently on 15 April 2023 on the This Is Why Tour. Two days later, on 17 April, they played the Glasgow arena that is now OVO Hydro, where they had also played on 20 January 2018.
