The Skyline Experience: 2 to 6 people

The Skyline Experience is the arena's entry-level premium product. It is a shared space rather than a private room, with balcony seats and extensive views of the action, a fast-track entry lane, and a choice of drinks and nibbles on the night. The venue has fitted it with photo displays, which points it towards a night out with friends more than a client meeting.

Premium Live Lounge: groups of all sizes

The Premium Live Lounge pairs a lounge with a seat for the show: its One Night Only packages usually combine an exclusive lounge seat with a premium seat in Block 17 of the arena. Local artists and performers provide live entertainment in the lounge. Food is a mezze platter and there is a welcome drink each. Guests also get a fast-track entry lane and premium toilets. The venue says the lounge looks out over the Royal Albert Dock, and it hires the room out separately for birthdays, anniversaries and corporate functions.

Premium Suites: up to 12 guests

A Premium Suite is a private room for up to 12 guests in classic art deco style, with panoramic views of the arena. The package includes a welcome drink for each guest, free parking, a cloakroom and premium toilets, and further food and drink can be ordered.

Premium Super Suites: up to 24 guests

Premium Super Suites are the venue's top tier. A Super Suite holds up to 24 guests and takes its look from 1920s private members' clubs, with walnut-panelled walls and gilded finishes. The venue publishes no menu or drinks package for the Super Suites, so food, drink and service for a given show are details to settle when booking.

What the premium products do not include

• No product lists a sit-down meal: the Skyline Experience offers a choice of drinks and nibbles, the Live Lounge a mezze platter, and a Premium Suite a welcome drink each, with any food ordered on top.
• The venue publishes no menu, dress code or dietary information for any of the four.

M&S Bank Arena holds Gold status under the Attitude is Everything Live Events Access Charter for 2024 to 2026, and it is a Sunflower Friendly business, which recognises disabilities that are not visible. Floor seats sit at a lower level reached by steps, so the accessible seating bays, which have no steps, are the step-free choice. One point the venue does not cover is access to the suites and lounges: neither the arena's premium page nor its accessibility page says whether they are step-free. Check that point with the venue for any guest who needs it.

How do you get to M&S Bank Arena?

For rail travellers the venue points to Liverpool Lime Street, a short taxi or bus ride from M&S Bank Arena's site on the King's Dock waterfront. Lime Street has hourly direct trains to London taking a little over two hours, so a London group can come up for the night. Buses run to Liverpool ONE bus station, about five minutes on foot from the arena, and Queen Square bus station also serves the area.

By road the arena is under 20 minutes from the motorway network, and brown tourist signs for the Waterfront lead to it on every major route into the city. For a sat-nav the venue gives the postcode L3 4BX, or suggests searching for Queen's Wharf. Coaches set groups down in drop-off areas beside the King's Dock site. Liverpool John Lennon Airport is about 20 minutes away by road, and Manchester Airport about 45.

Where do you park for M&S Bank Arena?

The car park for M&S Bank Arena is the Kings Dock Car Park on the site itself, run by Liverpool City Council and holder of the Park Mark Safer Parking Award. Every floor has accessible bays and electric vehicle charging points. The arena says spaces cannot be pre-booked, so drivers should allow time on the night. Of the four premium products, only the Premium Suites list free parking among their inclusions.

What can you take into M&S Bank Arena?

M&S Bank Arena allows one small bag, no larger than A4, and prefers clear bags. Medical bags and baby-changing bags are allowed as well, but there is no left-luggage store, so anything bigger stays in the car or the hotel. Glass, cans, aluminium bottles, flasks, professional cameras, and laptops or tablets that can film are all on the banned list.

Outside food and alcohol are not allowed, but an empty bottle can be refilled at the water fountains around the venue, including on the arena concourse. The arena is cashless, and food, drink and merchandise are paid for by contactless only.

Does M&S Bank Arena have a fixed seating plan?

M&S Bank Arena publishes a standard seating layout on its event listings, but labels it for guidance only, as each event layout is unique. It tells buyers to check the plan for their own event when booking. The floor in particular is seated for some concerts and standing for others, so the same area can look different from one night to the next.

What does not change is the way in: each ticket names the recommended entrance, whether Cityside, Riverside or one of the Floor entrances, so it is worth checking before arriving.

What is new at M&S Bank Arena, and what has it hosted?

From the 2026-27 season M&S Bank Arena is home to Liverpool Basketball, Super League Basketball's tenth franchise, with a first home game on 25 October 2026. It also staged the inaugural World Boxing Championships, 4 to 14 September 2025, and the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, which the BBC hosted on behalf of Ukraine, with semi-finals on 9 and 11 May and the 13 May final. The 2022 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships came a year earlier.

On 13 April 2026 the organisation that runs the arena, formerly The ACC Liverpool Group, relaunched as Liverpool Experience Campus, and the arena kept its own name. It is one of four venues on the campus, alongside the Convention Centre, the Exhibition Centre and The Auditorium.

Other events the arena has staged include the MTV Europe Music Awards, BBC Sports Personality of the Year and the Vitality Netball World Cup. The arena opened in 2008 as the Echo Arena, with the launch event for Liverpool's year as European Capital of Culture, and took the M&S Bank name in 2019.
